Would be alright with that. Wing under Teague is a funny position but Willo is suited to it with his speed, endurance and workrate.

For what it's worth, I don't think there's much overlap between being an active member of the forum in general discussion and being an "ITK" (don't even like the label...). You either get involved in all the day to day shenanigans, or you drop your nuggets and disappear to avoid the shitstorm that follows. If you want the best of both worlds you're gonna get neither.

Yep. I backed a fair few winners over the carnival, few losers as well. Happy to make out that I know what I am doing and tipped quite a few people into Exhilarates in the last on cup day. Pretty sure that doesn't make a racing ITK though.

2. People saying we overpaid for Saad with Pick 8 are the same people saying to get the deal done early or to stop wasting time. You do realise that although they are late picks coming back, we are getting Saad for roughly pick 13 - 14 (even before it gets pushed back due to father-sons and academy kids).

5. I would've liked to get a small forward, but it looks like we're saying our cap space for someone like Merrett next year when he becomes a free agent.

6. Tom Browne is the one reporting about possibly a trade surrounding LOB. It is Tom Browne don't forget, but I do see why something like this would happen. Newnes, SPS, Willo, Murphy, Walsh, Fogarty and Cottrell are all ahead of him for that spot right now so I wouldn't be surpassed if he leaves for more opportunity. (Frees up cap space for that big fish)

Overall a really good trade period, and we still have just over 24 hours to go. It's an 4.5/5 star rating for me so far as we got 2 really good quality players.

2. I'm in the camp that thinks we overpaid for an out of contract player if Fogarty was our only other play then we could have held out on this until the final hour of the trade period (that being said he's a bloody great acquisition for the club).

5. This so badly our most needed position is still not filled a failure of multiple drafting periods.

6. Happy to trade out LOB for Phillips. He would be better than all our current wings but on a large salary so if we can accommodate him that would be an improvement to our team.

Yeah I’d be surprised if we didn’t bring in some cover back there, what DFA are available? How’s Sharenbergs body going is he fit and likely to stay so?

Ideally we would have got Brander across but that’s obviously not happening now not sure we have many options at this stage except DFA maybe bring in Daw as coverage for multiple positions, back, ruck and forward.
