I just checked. The people saying it arent journos so its not 100%. I'd trust Knights over those sources.

Lachy Reid and Steve Allen at Ten both said Strnadica didn’t fly.

I legit would not be surprised, in fact i think it'll happen, when our team of Replacements comes out swinging for Knights by playing on instinct and it'll be one of our better games of the year.

Senior players will lift without Shuey and Simmo around, and it'll be a scrappy affair but with some heart shown and we'll go down swinging.

These are the games i don't mind as a fan. Won't be anything stale, get to see some new players and how some of them perform under duress with zero expectations.

Don't think it'll be the 100 point flogging as many have suggested, even in wet weather.

I'm thinking this way too, expecting we'll scrap and keep it reasonable in the first quarter only to be pulled away by the gap between full-time professional athletes and honest ammos.

Spewing Clark’s out. A wet slog would be perfect for him to throw his weight around and tackle like a maniac.

Harder to do from a wing though

Don't think he'll be handing out icy poles at training to Rotham and Nelson for hitting a target by foot this week.

Should i go back and quote everyone who shrugged this off like it was nothing and laughed at all the people in this thread who thought it was bad, or nah?

Other than bringing up the drugs saga from 15 years ago..... Was Caro actually correct?

This season has been an embarrassment and a basket case in just about every way possible. Worst Pre Season of all time quickly turned into worst season of all time.

And so he should be. In the current situation, with covid decimating our team, selfish individuals go and do that.
Gotta make an example of them, they can stay in the Beagles, I don't care who they are - then trade or delist at year's end. The rot must stop now!

Bit hard to suspend Rotham when he’s one of 20 AFL listed players in Brisbane.

He and Nelson should find themselves in the Beagles the following week though, assuming we get at least some players back.

Who said they're celebrating a loss?

Probably better off making them go home and lock themselves in a dark room I guess.
Shame on a bunch of 20-somethings for going out on the weekend with their mates from the east coast that they won't get to see for a while
F#*kn dictator, locking people down, freedom, yadayada.
Nek minute, players should be locked down.

Yes WAFL next week, and then we can discuss the punishment, if any, for their night out.

If Simmo wants to get any sort of control/ respect back from the players I think he needs to come down hard on them.

Rotham should not be playing this week, what difference is it going to make to the game result if he plays or not?

come down hard and set the standards expected.

Just wondering what the AFL will think if we sit him on the pine and play a top-up in his place this week.

There is something rotten in our club at the moment.

Players going out is fine. They aren't robots. They need to enjoy themselves.

However players going out when there risk we can have a Covid outbreak AFTER a 100 point thrashing......

Yeah not sure I can get onboard that.

It reeks of selfishness and simply not giving a ****.

Incredible thought process of a elite athlete in this environment.

I've got nothing wrong with Nelson and Rotham looking for a tutor to run extra ball handling drills off their own backs. Should be commended.

I'm just trying to picture Nelson picking up.

Nelson:'Hey baby, do you know who i am"
her/him:'Brayden Ainsworth"
Nelson:"No, i wish. Im Jackson Nelson, i play for West Coast"
her/him: 'Oh, you play for the West Coast WAFL team, that's nice. Look i gotta go, nice meeting you."

My question is who kicks the arses of those who let the club get to this point?

Or has it just become a successful corporation that’s finally, and so embarrassingly, lost its way?

Is it now a must have on your corporate CV for the WA social elite?

Has the club too often put profit ahead of football?
Or ahead of members or god forbid non-members?

Maybe I’m simple but it can’t all be TKs fault? Or Govs fault? Or JDs fault? Etc etc etc

Just where does the buck stop?
