Definitely bringing in Jackson this week to cover for English.

Will sacrifice Greg Clark for D’Ambrosio and go Durdin to Jacko.

Butters and English to the pine for a spell. They’ll come back fresh.

Well English has forced my hand. Don't mind what has come out of it though. If Butters is only out for a short term then I reckon I'll go:

Paddy McCartin and Clark out.
Witts and D'Ambrosio in.

I'm holding Preuss and Butters for this week at least, if they both come back in the next couple of weeks Butters becomes at M9. Big if though.

Jeffrey and SDK in F5 and F6 this week 🤮

Am hoping to do no trades. Don’t have English but have had plenty of other injury concerns. Parnell is tempting, but have Cleary sitting there on the bench on the bubble (may not play again of course) and Wehr. Have 8 trades left. Might need them with the injury/illness toll probably continuing.
 
Preuss out only one week apparently

But I still have to trade...to avoid a donut. It's like this game is deliberately being cruel to me now. If Teakle was not injured, I would have loved to hold Preuss and save 2 trades but of course I can't. It's really incredible how this game punishes me, finds new ways...

Butters will probably only miss week

a. Port are desperate to make finals and they'll want to rush him back
b. He's too brave for his own good, he'll tell the medicos he's fine

The issue is if he plays and reinjures his knee, you're screwed, low score and he'll drop a heap of cash (BE = 122)

Looks like it's minor, as worst it's a 2 or 3 weeker

I reckon you can hold if you're really low on trades, and/or have very little in the bank to trade him to somebody top tier

Do you have any cover?
If not and you have no on-field upgrades left to make, would trade Butters out to a Bont / Parker / ... type..
He's just not consistent and durable enough and you're trade-rich.
