Let's not get too literal. Just saying that Walsh, Docherty, Saad who are always in the votes, will be thereabouts again. Fisher I agree with but the votes in a win are up for grabs. The point is that we don't win without the contribution from the lesserlights and the maligned.

I firmly sunscribe to the theory that when your best player plays sub-par/below his usual excellent standards, and lesser lights pick up the slack, your team is on the right track /path.

Saad and Young really were unsung heroes with their committed, fearless and crucial efforts from the back line and half back flank. Docherty as usual in AA form.

Saad really needs to be in the AA discussion at this point. Being so consistent and a rock of gilbrator, week in, week out.

Saad is a complete jet. Just something about him, the ball always bounces up to him at the right time, when he gets it he's usually running forward. Has amazing timing. Scans the horizon and disposes to the right option in a matter of seconds whilst bouncing twice. Tremendously underrated footballer.

Honey has played just a few games.

Perfectly put. It doesn't really matter, but it did seem worthy. It deserved to be a 5 goal authoritive win, and it was.

Bit of overdue luck that wobbly Lobb missed from the top of the square and Harry could ice the worthy 5 goal cake at the siren.

I thought Kemp was beaten in the air pretty much all game. But asking him to play key defender isn't really fair.

Young was sensational. Competed really well, spoils left right and centre. Linked up well with other deep defenders.
