No doubt. The song was written by a combo called Lennon/McCartney. They never recorded it themselves but they did make it big as part of their own little band.Sounds like Beatles type pop music. There's a bit of early Beach Boys in there too.

I remember you linking this performance ages ago and I watched it and was kind of confused by it, the guy has a unique voice and presence and I didnt like it mhuch but it was memorable ....
