Throw in National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, Elf, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Jingle All the Way, The Santa Clause and not really a Christmas movie but set around Christmas in Gremlins and everyone around here is relatively happy.

Unfortunately I must also watch Love Actually under copious amounts of duress (but am starting to enjoy certain aspects of it as the years progress), lol.

Yeah, not a lot saved from the original (book or movie) in the TV series - apart from the name. But I enjoyed it all the same.
