People won't give him credit until he kicks 5 goals a game.

He has started the season in good touch. He just needs to kick straighter at goal, but other than that he is running around and getting kicks and providing tackles at a nice clip. He has doubled his tackles average and he is learning to get a clearance or two when spending a bit of time around the packs.
He has the opportunity to cement his place if he does the things that a small forward should on a more consistent basis

Instead of sitting at the bottom of packs and waiting for the big guys to bring the ball down, far too often, he flies for marks against them and gets in the way. He is far too concerned with pulling off the spectacular. Instead of passing the ball to a player in a better position, he'd rather go with the low-percentage shot at goal.

Hopefully, he can sort his game out and become the player we desperately need. He has the talent, but he needs to become more disciplined. The thing he has going for him is that he is still young.

He certainly doesn't need to kick 5 goals in games. If he kicks a couple more often than not and puts pressure on his opposition, I'd be quite happy.

Bring back in Lucas and Cooper and select Moir.
Drop Evans Gov and Hayes and keep Young in the team. SOS and Weiters are building real good chemistry. And start Boyd.

Those would be changed id make to the side for the game.

This may well be a typo from yourself, but I am seeing it a lot on this board, it's spelt Haynes.

Ok early doors but I'll start with this

In: Carroll Lord Moir
Out: Williams Doc Cowan

FB: Gov Weitering Haynes
HB: Boyd Silvagni Saad
C: Walsh Cripps Acres
HF: Fogarty Kemp Cottrell
FF: Motlop Curnow Young
FOL: TDK Hewett Cerra
INT: Carroll Evans Lord Moir
SUB: Ollie

Tempted to add White but benefit of doubt to Evans that he'll have a shutdown role

If we give Evans another game, the MC would need to be questioned again.
Give White some games & bring in some youth & players who are going to be running strong in the 2nd half, get Hollands back on the wing.

We need to start trying things up forward. The same old forwards who have been getting regular games week in week out and hardly touch it
A start would be to get them to stop going so deep into our D50 and get the defenders and mids better at defending the ground ball in our D50 for better exits .. We are over compensating with defensive run maybe because our mids are just slow..

I can't live in a world where we are dropping Cowan and retaining Haynes.

Wasn’t OH back on the wing (and got torched by Davidson)?
Some poor efforts in the last Q resulting in goals against.

Won’t happen but McGovern is the one that needs to be dropped

That last goal dogs scored was because he couldn’t punch the ball out over the line…was poor
Unfortunately that’s Mitch McGovern in a nutshell.

Should be 1st in the firing line with his lack of commitment out there. Very poor so far this year & doesn’t deserve any credits for what’s been a regular showing for his defensive want to contest, absorb pressure and inconsistent skills. Buckles McGovern vs Brackets.

An aggressive spoil where the ball and oppo player are taken over the line was so easy to achieve.

Instead McGovern did what McGovern does. Inexcusable.

Has negative credits and should be dropped. But Voss and the club are fighting for their lives…

He's improving his play around the ground but time and again vs the dogs his man was running to impact play while he trailed 3-5m behind at a jog.

Some of this is on the team plan forcing small forwards to cover the whole field but it's bloody hard to win when the other team has an extra at contests.
