Just beat Geelong… the team knows the last 2 games were against witches hats for a majority of the games.

TDK needs to figure out how to not get shepherded out of ruck contests - would love to see him dictate to the other ruck

Weitering was laughing a bit when they panned to the bench in the last 5 - didn’t seem to have any strapping or ice on the knee. He also waved the Doctor away.
Might’ve been having a laugh at our best 4 players and half our cap sitting on the pine though.

Great all round performance, White Carroll Lord new/young blokes - Motlop Durdin Williams small forwards - Hewett Cerra midfielders - TDK & Young - JSOS Weitering backline - Charlie 4.3 - pressure - goal kicking accuracy- ball movement - 4 quarter team effort…
Thought Young was much more confident than in previous outings.
The small forwards have matured - if Motlop and Durdin now have AFL-ready bodies, our forward line is nicely balanced.
Happy to say I’m a dumb **** for suggesting Cotts as sub.
Just need Boyd hitting form and making a return and we’ll be better again.
Carrol will play every game from here you’d think.

I was almost more impressed with his tackling!
The best part was the response from the players who cop it the most.
I thought Young played a great game. Not for big numbers but just his attack on the ball.
He created opportunities by attacking the ball and creating space for others, and it created goals.
McGovern and Williams attacked the ball and got the rewards.
Cottrell's delivery into the forward 50 has improved beyond any realistic expectations.
Motlop ran and harassed all day and finally got rewarded on the scoreboard.
White, Carroll and Lord are a credit to Austin's ability to pick a smokey.

Very pleased with the young brigade. Jesse's best game of his career. We might have plucked one in Wiil White. Durdin looking like a player. Cotts ; hard as a cats head and delivered some lovely passes.
Manic tackling all over the ground, but especially in the F50. Tick. TDK immense when the game was to be won; faded/rested himself later, I thought. I even liked Lewis Youngs game
A game where Crippa could coast and we win by 10+ goals is a great sign for the group. (who knew the Skip had a left foot?)
North were putrid.
