You are right he is 27 years old and should be able to make good decisions about his future by now but that round one performance really calls into question his ability to make good decisions. If he was so unwell as he indicated in his podcast prior to that game he should never have made himself available to play the Richmond game. I’m not out on him but if the mental health stuff is as he said it is then I’m not sure playing against a good Geelong side in a high stakes game in front of a big MCG crowd is the best place for him.
He took a personal break and now he is back. I doubt he would return unless he was 100% right. The club has supported him throughout. I don't get the point of pushing it out further when he was clearly fine to go against the Eagles. Crowd size/opponent should also not be a factor imo.

Harry In, Young is out for no reason other than team balance. I think he performed pretty well when called upon this year.

Reckon we are a show in this one.

Go Blues.

Cats by 15 points...Not convinced the blues can play 120 minutes of largely error free football against a top disciplined, metronomic side
Not sure any team in the history of the game can or have ever played 120 mins of error free football vs anyone!! let alone a well disciplined side……..

I think Young was stiff but agree on team balance. IMHO Blacres probably was the one I'd have dropped on form.
I think our best 23 has Cowan in the side but unsure who gets dropped for him.
Young was very stiff was also stiff to be dropped last time to i thought.
Hopefully Cowan can find form in the vfl, then maybe push Ollie back to a wing. Very hard to find a spot with to take in this 23 imo
