I’m just happy that we won - it wasn’t pretty, but it was a good win

So many good contributors, but I loved EH in the last qtr - he’s just a smart player :)

Freakish repeat efforts from guys like saad

**** Ross is dumb. They open that game up in the third quarter they win. We don't have the run or rotations to go with them.
That was bewildering to me too. I felt for sure he'd do exactly that to test us and run us off our feet.

Harry McKay CLUTCH. And to all those tracking his disposals Jesse Motlop's composure in Q4 was a massive reason for the win. Was brilliant in the last. Didn't rush and hit important kicks
Turned on the jets in the last when everyone else was running out of gas. What a win!

We won against a Ross second half strangle fest.

Still have concerns about too many of our players fading out for large chunks. Curnow still playing just halves of games like last year. Cripps is he injured?

Think Weiters loves Haynes saw him laugh with him post game, didn’t know he had teeth.

Umpires were at their awful best, making some bs calls particular in ruck duels.

Good practice for a game against the Swans who like the scrum.

Harry hope you know you’re our most important player so keep going.

Season still alive somewhat but lots to do and hope we can release the shackles soon.

So, you walk out onto the ground in the second half against Ross Lyon down to 3 on the bench, and the ****ers upon taking possession at all times don't just go the long switch but switch all the way back again, you know it's a coaching direction. Far from looking for the short option, they genuinely sought to spread us, make us defend the entire space to exacerbate the effect of the injuries. But it's days like this that reveal somewhat that our gamedsy coaching dept. aren't as stupid at this forum would have it; the game went from us trying to run the ball or use the corridor to the boundary, stoppage, heavily contested game - that was ugly as **** - to reduce St Kilda opportunities to run us round, knowing that they would give us the scrap.

Lyon cannot help himself. A scrappy, contest riven, defensive game, with both side set up behind the ball; it's his natural state of comfort. We set a trap, and by gum did he fall right into it.

It might've been dour. It might be a game to take the points and forget. But this is an interesting result, for an number of different reasons.

Thanks Blues, and thanks Tim Lane and 5AA for giving me some balanced coverage.

Edit: Maybe it wasn't Tim Lane? Good coverage on my 6th attempt at finding a station that called both teams.
