Newman an outside chance to returnA shame Newman went down. Between Haynes adjusting and fitting in and Silvagni emerging as an A grade defender Weiters must think it's Christmas.
If all the favourites win this weekend, we will be 8th at the end of the round as long as Geelong beat the Giants by at least 20We’re got the chance of being in the 8 in the next 2 weeks, SYD (SCG) GWS (MARV) before the bye…

who in our team doesn't turn it over?I think Binns in time can be an upgrade on Cottrell for one reason. He gets alot more of the ball. Yes he turns it over, but he will run all day and we must perserve with him for a block of games.

If people are saying that then it's a terrible take. Only tine they were on top was the last 10min of Q2, which just coincided to us being down to one on the bench. Not saying that we were on top all the other times. Rather the game was a genuine arm wrestle, and the result came down to moments where one team would break through.Geez, I've read some doozies over the past 8 hours, namely Saints were the better side on the night, and umpires won us the game
Oh boy, Saints did not win 1 quarter for the match. Bunch of delulu's Saints supportere
Was a very important win. If we can get into the 8 this season it will be a great effort. In the context of the season it was a genuine 8-point game. Losing would have put a fair gap between us and the pack, but having won we've jumped them and are in touch of the top eight.
I wouldn't call it winning ugly - it was winning tough. The players looked spent at the end of the game. They gave everything tonight. Hope they're walking away with some real belief in themselves as a group.
Of course, he played well prior too. But after the injuries it was even more important that we had him. If it was not a tall like Young playing then they couldn’t have filled the hole like Young did. He was exactly who we needed last night. He kicked two goals up until those injuries occurred before he was asked to go back in defence. Not sure your comment makes much sense.
I fell asleep in the 3rd quarter, ground staff had to wake me up and carried my bags to the train to help me get home……Fell asleep in last Q
Checked scores at ~2am
Just watched replay of last Q
Good win considering our bench was decimated
Hopefully McGovern is ok - that woulda hurt
Agree, that’s the way St Kilda make you play, you’re either up for the hard contested disciplined performance or you can turn up like Fremantle did the previous week against them…..I wouldn't call it winning ugly - it was winning tough. The players looked spent at the end of the game. They gave everything tonight. Hope they're walking away with some real belief in themselves as a group.
Happy Birthday! Mine is on Sunday and very rarely do we get a win the week of my(ourIt's my birthday tomorrow and I shall celebrate by watching this![]()
) birthday. I’m going to enjoy it too. Go Blues
Was reported he played well in vfl last week.I will just put out there that how Binns hasn’t got more games is a dead set mystery.
