Blight needs a run at it. He's a genuine monster at VFL level, so I have no doubt once he feels confident at AFL level there's a player in there. Also, he's not going to drive his price up in the twos if he is WA-bound.

Its round 16 and a lot of our kids are tired and we are playing a side that is in the Top 4. Best to enjoy the build and the moments where the kids do some good stuff.

Any that thinks we should be anything but where we are right now lives in a fantasy land. And a shit fantasy land since there are no dragons but the team getting killed.

id enjoy the game when our mids turn up. use the ball creatively and then it is what it is.

Watching Blight in the VFL versus the AFL, it’s a totally different player.

I get he probably has a different role, but in the VFL he tries to (and usually does) mark everything. He backs himself to clunk it everytime.

When he steps up, he only ever looks to punch. It’s like he’s scared to get his hands on it incase he drops it.

Not worried about where this team is heading at all. When your worst problems are your senior players when your rebuilding, that is just the proof of "why".

The kids we have drafted last year all look great, got a bunch of great picks coming in too. Yze the club needs to really figure out his ceiling but this was always a 7 year rebuild & still looks like that. Crows have been rebuilding since we spanked them in 2017 & still can't beat us by 100+ with a team of kids, old spuds & umps kissing them on the Jones.

Club will 100% need to dip their tip into the recycled player well this year tho, its time to move on some of these senior guys amd get some short term experience in to replace them. KMac had a better year than i expected, but i really don't think there is much to be gained giving him 1 more. Prestia & Lynch really need to have some serious questions asked to them too.
