Pitto helping TDK makes more sense than Mickey Mouse contrived roles for Lewy Young.

Any time we bring O’Farrell in is a positive for me. Young man is a huge part of the future and likely forces his way in to the best 22 as early as next year. Bit of a statement that he is already preferred to Young as a tall defender.

Cowan and Carroll are definitely a part of our future defensive staples. But harsh on young Billy, but he failed his audition. I am sure Boyd has some KPIs to meet and again failed to do so. He is a bit of a myth on this board. There are plenty in front of him. Think of Haynes’ little rant after the game.

Other than a conscious bias many of us have, Evans was the prime mover in the twos. I am a Durdin fan and would have loved to see him in, but Frankie was the right call. He and Fantasia can both contribute wing and even inside. He has earned the spot and has now had time to be in tune with our game.c

I will be annoyed if Flynn Young is the sub. His disposal is a weapon and should be explored seriously.

Moir has earned at minimum a sub gig and should benefit from another outing. Other than being combative, Cincotta has been poor and for mine was a poor/desperate elevation. We need to school another couple of candidates for tagging / run with roles. Thinking Cinc’s body may have his career in jeopardy.

You'll see Pittonet play forward tomorrow night. Do you really believe that Pittonet is a marking threat forward?

Looks like our average age is down to 26.0 years old for this week's team. Roughly 3 years younger on average than the Pies team at 28.9 years old. Last week we were at 27.2.

Yeah Francis Evans is a great player just a bit unlucky that he hasn’t got a kick at 3 AFL clubs.

Bloke has busted his gut every week in the 2s and was clear best on ground last week.

He deserves a call up more than anyone else in the VFL side. Whether he plays well or not tomorrow night he had to come in, and he should have everyone’s full support

I agree he didn’t blanket Butters as much as we would have liked, last week was a shitfest all over the ground, he’s done some very good roles on top players over the past 2 years…
He’s our best lockdown player for these quick skillful types, on the other hand he has missed a fair chunk of the season so far and is possibly not quite up to his potential best…

This was historically the issue with McGovern as a forward.

He had one good game in every 5 or so games

He found consistency as a backman which is why i prefer him there. Especially since Weitering is on half a leg, Silvagni is injuried, Docherty just makes me sad, and the rest are either learning their craft or second guessing everything they do because they are all over place structurally.

If Lemmey had no form in the 2s i could understand it, as there are no real alternatives. But the guy can't even get nominated as a emergency and hes been the most consistent performer in the 2s for the last 6 to 8 weeks
