I’ve never seen anyone stop and prop before tackling to give their opponents time to get rid of the ball, besides the two dozen times each game carlton players do it. Why is this a thing?

Isn't it amazing how we can kick straight once the pressure is off. So much going on mentally with this group.

(yes i know it's different players but their kicking looks more relaxed and natural when the pressure is off.)

that kick from hewett needs to be penetrating not across to the wing

Easy turnover and bang they go the other way

Voss might be an average (or worse coach) but this list is putrid.

I cannot believe the amount of missed tackles and easy kicks.
Lol. Imagine thinking the list is playing anywhere near a capacity. They're below even the baseline minimum standard.

Charlie has kicked 0.10 from like 15 shots. Levi casboult never In his life went on a streak like that.

Speaks to the mental over skills. Speaks to the preparation over skills.

Charlie is a billion times more talented than Levi ever dreamed.

The list from a talent perspective is fine. There are other things at play and fault.

Judge the list on its leadership, culture and prep and it's a 0 but that's changeable. A putrid list requries a full rebuild. This list does not require that

May as well go early on the analysis now, not sure I'll get through the fourth.

Effort has actually been better. Not our best, but we've shown more intent than the last month or so.

Unfortunately, despite the intent the execution is still shizen.

Fog can be shelved for the remainder of the year. He's not doing anything a kid like Lord can't do, and at least a kid would have scope for improvement.

Motlop trying hard, but his finishing is atrocious. No idea what Cincotta is doing out there. Hollands having a mare and getting in the way of others more often than impacting any contest positively. Carroll has some upside but really struggling defensively and doesn't seem overly confident on where to be.

Young struggling a bit with the pace, but gets a hall pass in his first full game. Moir having a shocking night in front of goal, but he's covering ground well and getting a few looks - must persist and let him build his confidence.

HOF looks a natural, great read of the play, good wheels, good hands.

Think Weiters is struggling with such an inexperienced backline group, indecisive and trying (and failing) to cover too much space.

Second week in a row that I think our "best" player has been subbed out. Fantasia, for all his faults, was showing the kind of impact he threatened in the preseason before injury hit again. If he can play out the rest of the season, I could actually see him getting another year...crazy.

Midfield crap. Rucks ordinary. Smalls invisible. Leaves the backline under constant pressure and gives the forwards a snowflakes chance of getting any decent delivery. Forwards then being wasteful with the few opportunities they get.

Result looking exactly like you'd expect for a "bottom of the middle, top of the bottom" type side against a genuine contender. Bloody frustrating that Brisbane can pull the Hollywood-handballs out their arses and find targets, while we're unable to even kick to the advantage side of a one-on-one.
