Toby Greene - Kicked Rampe in the groin.

AFL should just deregister this twat and be done with it

What is the limit of career total weeks suspension before a player is banned in every other AFL comp? 15 weeks?

If Toby was playing ammo's he would likely be banned already.

So much for the AFL leading the way and setting an example for the kids hey!

Post retirement from the top league will he be allowed to continue playing and belting, kicking and smashing opponents?

Thomas was just as blunt.

“At park football you’re told to shake hands… but then you defend,” he said.

“You put an arm across. You’ve got contact. You’re shoving and showing some kind of aggression. Some kind of passion. Some kind of intent to show the opposition they’re there and they are going to have a tough day.”

He went on to say: “You shake hands. You take two steps back as a defender and then you put your elbow straight into their back and if they turn around you tell them, ‘That’s it all night’.

See this is why I'm in the Toby Greene camp on this stuff.
Why should a forward just have to accept cowardly shit that defenders do constantly? If Rampe (or anyone) wants to dish out weak rubbish and 'niggle', surely the forward is entitled to give them one back.

"Gonna be a tough night for me huh? Well here's a sack full of studs for ya Champ."

There's better, more 'manly' if you wish, ways to do it than how Toby does it.

Can you point out where I brought up anyone? I was merely responding to another Collingwood supporter who won't take their blinkers off and admit that Darcy Moore got away with an intentional cheap shot.

Seems there is more than one of them in this thread...
You quoted me and squeaked about Moore and Maynard, and you got your reply.

There's no comparison, they are not relevant.

Greene is a very cheap coward, and appears to enjoy a lot of luck evading suspensions multiple times a season.

Kicking opponents is a degraded and unsportsmanlike acts in our game.

You may want to find another sport if you think it's OK. Greene definitely should.

Ahhhhhh got it... You're allowed to talk Maynard and Moore up like they're angels, but if anyone dares to reply and contest your bullshit assumptions, you throw your toys out of the cot.

What Moore did was dirty and intentional. You can try and spin it any way that you like but that's what happened. Was it as bad as Greene's action, no, but it was a shitty thing to do, especially from someone who likes to have themselves thought of as a custodian of the game.

Don't even get me started on Maynard... Particularly if you're talking about blokes who are lucky to avoid suspension.

Can't believe people want to deflect from Greene's abnormal behaviour. He's beyond the pale.

You already started yourself on Maynard, in a thread about Greene.

Youve started in on Moore, but it's not a thread about Moore.

Neither kicks blokes in the face, or the balls.

Greene does. All the time. He's the most cowardly violent and unsportsmanlike player in the league. Drags his studs on blokes legs. Knees players in the chest after the ball is gone.

Every second week the opposition is left fuming because he's pulled some stunt no one else would get away with.
I personally find elbowing a defenceless and unsuspecting guy in the back repeatedly incredibly unsportsmanlike.

It's bullshit.
Great, start a thread to moan about it. I agree theres rough play to negate good players and I'll post in it.

Cool then Vandermeer should be allowed to kick Taylor in the goolies then.

You do realise that I RESPONDED to YOUR post which mentioned Maynard and Moore? You tried to suggest that their incidents from the Freemantle game were while they were contesting the ball?

I've never tried to deflect anything from Greene. He should have got more for the elbow to the face and something for the donkey kick.

How about YOU stop deflecting from the fact that you had TWO players perform acts that could also be described as dirty?

I'm not sure if you're confused or trolling at this point. Good luck to you in trying to make a thread about the worst sport in the league into something else.

Simmer down, placeholder.

Maynard and Moore clash with blokes in contests, Greene is a serial kicking grub with a long history of cowardly unsportsmanlike acts off the ball.

They are in no way comparable.

You don't remember your own posts (the top one is the first one I replied to in this thread).

Just to refresh your memory... You're the one claiming that Maynard and Moore were "in contests" when they dogged 2 separate blokes.

Dropping your knees into a bloke on the ground is soooooooooo sportsmanlike :tearsofjoy:

Can't believe Swann said the grub avoided suspension for the Rampe incident because he made no contact which is just bizarre because he did make contact, even if it wasn't a complete whack to the nuts. So by Swann's logic you can absolutely wind up to kick someone in the head deliberately but if don't 'make contact' its all good?

Aren't intentional groin hits supposed to be treated like intentional head hits? How does Greene get away with that?
Didn't make contact with the groin. Just like he didn't make contact with the eyes the first time he went gouging.

Watch for him to give someone a solid kick in the balls next game. Get a solid suspension and idiots roll out the "Toby Tax".
