All the pre-season criticism about being too old and slow was spot on.

And we’ve compounded it by a complete lack of bravery and imagination at the selection table.

We need a radical list and role shake up in the off-season. No more Long Mitchell or Pendles in centre square. If that means Pendles doesn’t catch Boomer’s games record, so be it.

I was potted earlier in the year for (heaven forbid) Pendles was treading water with his output - well.... what is he contributing?

Mind you this is perfect for the AFL in term of headline material. Nothing like bringing more interest to the competition from Carlton / Essendon / Richmond supporters whose seasons are shot.

Hard to tell today what isn't scripted by the AFL. This actually puts me off the sport. Seems too contrived.

Truth is, the losses to GC and Freeo were the ones that really hurt. Those we should have won.
