Lot of players lacking confidence or showing not quite ready or up to it. Games like this make delisting shirl, menzies, lual, goldy pretty easy.

Also more comfortable if we decide trade gresham/perkins.

And exposes the youngsters flaws.

Blakiston, unwin, mcmahon can use this game as teaching as exposing what they need to work on if they are to make it.

There's about half a dozen players in this lineup that need to be delisted in 2 weeks.

Remember an early Anzac match with us - he may have had in the late 30s, was slicing and spinning through Collingwood like prime Judd and absolutely butchering it. Carlton a lot more skilled tonight when moving the ball.

We must have the worst small forwards in the league. Multiple players can't kick 15m directly in front.

Mate it's horrendous -and we coughed up $700k a year for a small forward who is petrified of using a drop punt 30m directly in front. I was hoping Unwin was getting that free and groaned when I saw it was Gresh. One thing I will give El Hawli playing up the ground, he actually looks quite classy with the ball.

I watched the seconds last week and cannot believe Johnson is not best 22 and Gerry’s should be playing tonight in front of a spud such as Menzies, Guelfi or Gresham who give you little

If I've done the maths correctly it's 18 times including tonight.
We also kicked 2 goals or less in qtr (not including behinds) 46 times

I get that amd im not expecting miracles (or a win), but by the same token I expect Langford to do better than crappy snaps to no one. I expect Gresham to make the distance from 35m. I expect Shiel to hit a target or two. I expect midfielder to chase and apply pressure. I expect that Menzie should eb able to kick a goal from directly in front
