Not really surprised with that billy. We had that theme several years ago and my answer was still the same. Kiss the Bride is one of my least favorite Elton songs but I oouldn't think of much else that hasn't been nommed. Although I do think it was an artist billy as there was much worse on there.

At least after November I'll be able to nom Oasis next time we have this theme.

My avatar is fine too. My favourite non-Essendon player.

5. Mogwai - New Paths to Helicon Pt I Riviat
4. Ed Sheeran - Shape of You por_please_ya can't imagine going to a live show and he's a regular Billy option for me, but I really dig this song and there's a reason it was everywhere
3. Tyler the Creator - Sugar On My Tongue omgfridge
2. Bloc Party - Price of Gasoline TubbsFarquhar
1. Peter Gabriel - Come Talk to Me BFew

B. Elton John - Kiss the Bride raskolnikov 80s Elton is such drek. Has any other canonised artist had such a small window of greatness?

Although as much as I can't stand Geelong and happy to see them lose on the weekend Ollie Dempsey is fast becoming one of my favourites.
Max Holmes for me

Still like Duursma

That's an interesting take I wouldn't have expected from you. Not arguing it. Reckon Jeff Buckley would be up there. Stone Roses. Neutral Milk Hotel sadly. Hootie. Lauryn Hill has just the one album, fantastic as it is. Sex Pistols still get carried on over with very little substance or output. Minor Threat.

I'm more thinking artists who have a few cracker albums and then churn out dross for, in Elton's case, most of half a century, rather than those who don't follow up on their enormous promise like basically all those listed aside Hootie. But those are all good counterpoints, yes.

Ah yeah. Yes, Genesis and Jefferson Airplane all caught the drek bug. Maroon 5s first album is a great pop record, been awful since (not been bad as long as elton). Arctic Monkeys are at risk I reckon, their last album was super disappointing. Again, they haven't been at it as long but Shining from norway put out an amazing black metal/Jazz album then have been trying to emulate imagine Dragons since.

Could be a good theme actually.
