WTAF is your problem JHF1870 ?

Stating straight lies like saying I think Fossie is a liar and didn't go to a Pink Floyd cover band concert is low even for you. How dare you question my character.

I don't like Pink Floyd and thought a cover band song of theirs was bang average in a good PL. Simple. They finished last and YOU didn't even vote for them either. You're often bitching to start a fight by posting shade like this for reasons only you'd know. How about leave me and others tf alone instead?

For someone who whinges about people taking the song contest too seriously you should look in a mirror. For starters you can **** off with your diatribe of shade and libelous claims.

Oh and the constant sooking you've been on the last month about getting a nom rejected has been pathetic and looks like you've been bullying MWPP retroactively from my pov. Grow the **** up and have some respect for others.

Capisce?b
The **** you talking about. Did I call you out specifically.

Settle down

WHy dont you tell me how you really feel.

Youre the one melting. Sounds like YOU are taking things too seriously.

Ive been here long enough to know most of what goes on in here, and in WW is banter. You just seem to be giving it more attention than it deserves.
In ochs defence, it can be hard to gauge tone through text and you do come on very strong and analytical.

To change the topic (or change it back), Hydatina Physis, I reckon I can add Tame Impala to the list of bands who have fallen victim to dreckism. Their last album was average and their new singles are anything but promising for their upcoming one. Although it seems that they're barely a band anymore and it's just Kevin Parker taking control with side projects like GUM and Pond providing an outlet for some of the other members.

If calling out toxic and shit behaviour is melting then I'll happily melt all day.

And lol on calling back the Joker round like 200 rounds ago in which you also were antagonistic to Grey Crow. I apologised to him and expressed regret for my actions in this thread, something you don't have the capacity to do.

I did nominate a song from Currents but I found that album overrated.

What the **** is Drekism

What the **** is Drekism
A word I just made up meaning artists whose music turns to shit. Although it probably should be dreckism.

I'd probably agree. Picture might become a bit clearer after they've released a few more albums.

That does raise another topic. Are there any bands that got better when a single member took the reins? I can't think of any. People might say The Faceless as their sound broadened when M.Keene took over but he also ran the band into the groud with junkie shenanigans.

Duran and Depech sort of lost touch on their foundations but had mini revivals here and there

Ordinary World
Personal Jesus

Some people might argue MGMT fits. I don't but I know a few people that haven't liked anything since the first. I reckon they've got better.
They havent really evolved though have they

Depche's last album was pretty good.

Nah, MGMT have been consistently strong for the most part. Their self-titled is their weakest, but Little Dark Age I rate as their best, with Loss of Life last year also being solid (Mother Nature is a tune).

That's exactly where I sit with them. Always got the most out of themselves at the time. Have just matured. Always execute well.

Being a Twenty One Pilots fan myself, I could consider some of their works a little off putting. Would be interested to hear others takes on their evolution from Blurryface and then onto others albums like Scaled and Icy
I'll admit that I haven't really dived into their discography much. Blurryface was their big mainstream breakthrough and they were all the rage in 2015-16 (I wasn't a fan of Stressed Out at all), but that fizzled out pretty quickly. When I say fizzle out, I mean more their time in the mainstream as they're still producing music, and a lot of it looks to have been well-received.

Breach, Clancy and Trench might be worth a listen.

They've never been my thing, but Breach, Clancy and Trench might be worth a listen.
With Breach and somewhat Clancy they've really delved into their fanbases wishes. I mean they've built one big enough to sustain targeted music and still get massive praises.
Trench for me is probably their best album, not only for hardcore fans but for just any listeners, it really shows off their abilities to float between different genres with only two people. Clancy too, it's a little bit more hardcore fan styled but still is a great album for anybody to listen to.

If I had to throw a couple of songs out to listen to, I'd say Tally, One Way and City Walls (from Breach), Levitate, Jumpsuit and Legend (From Trench) and Navigating, Overcompensate and Routines in the Night (from Clancy).
