It'll happen this week and next. We haven't seen many announcements yet because most club BnFs are yet to happen. Pretty sure they'll all be done by Saturday night. Once those events have happened, there will be lots of player and coach movement.

was most recently Senior Assistant Midfield Coach at North Melbourne.

I think it's pretty clear now that we aren't assembling an all-star coaching panel for Voss. Not surprising that highly rated assistants aren't willing to risk their careers by working under an obvious lame duck coach.

Well on the face of it that is not an inspiring pick. One of North's major weaknesses is their ability to defend stoppage. Ranked last in the AFL in that area this season. Scored the 4th most from stoppage at least but still hard to feel excited about this if it is true.

well this is depressing... all this talk about how we are seeking out all these gun Assistants.... yet...

If you take your navy blue glasses off it was always going to be hard to attract gun assistants.

You have a coach who's not that well regarded who's out of contract and a team who's not going that well and in the process of losing 3 top players.

The only reason you'd come is for a promotion but you can only have so many senior assistants and we still have Hansen. You can't promise multiple coaches higher responsibilities.

Im pretty sure Wright knows Voss won't get another contract. He just wants to wait a year for better options to come on the market and also reset the culture (coach sacking + player power).

Did some digging on the North board, apparently Adams was offered a multi-year extension to stay and turned it down.

was there a timeline for when coaches/assistants move clubs?

Can't help but feel we have let go a few coaches and Wright and Davis have been smacked in the face with how hard it is to get people to work at this club compared to where they were at. Has to be the problem.

Aim high, crash land, setup to fail, fail, rinse and repeat. Our reputation which we have spent the last 20 years dragging through the mud and our coaches' may not be helping. How we have set coaches up and how well we have been going speaks for itself.

Adams to coach our midfield? North have been hammered over absolute zero lack of pressure all year. It's not inspiring me. It used to be played well against us, now maybe coached well against us?

Let's just hope it works out, noting announced and plenty of water to go under the bridge still.

We really need to get back into finals next year and start repairing our reputation.
