My body is so ready
Um, it seems you've had too many browser tabs open again.

You posted this in the SFA, not Tinder. You better get back to whoever you were speaking to and let them know your sexy body is still ready.

This is not the first time you have done this sort of thing.

Please note this show is called "Cooking WITH E_R", not "E_R is Cooking for YOU".

It is an open session where all opinions are welcome. Any cooking hints and tips, favourite recipes (maybe you make something nice that most wouldn't know much about and you would like to share it). What you made last night or maybe you are planning to make something special in the next few days.

Now, this is important. I don't want anyone to think I am setting myself up as some sort of self-elected chairperson, just see me as a facilitator.

Now we have that out of the way let's begin.

First up is DemurePrincess and her lovely "beef brisket with baked rosemary potatoes and pumpkin with butter braised asparagus, peas and spinach."

I do like fresh asparagus and did have some last week. I just lightly fry it in oil but not for too long, I still like a bit of crunch. Sometimes I will sprinkle sesame seeds over it for a bit of extra flavour.

I don't often have spinach but I'm a big fan of silverbeet. Which is quite easy to grow yourself.

I am VERY interested in the brisket. I have only had it at a restaurant, it was very nice but I have never tried it at home. I would be interested to know where you buy it and how to prepare and cook it.

Please, share your thoughts. Don't be shy.

I’ve made the same mistake regretfully, I posted this snap of myself at the beach and the amount of responses has been overwhelming.

I’ve taken it down by the way.

WAbulldog it's your time to shine here.

I also didn't like those weetbix muesli bars that were dry weetbix covered in yoghurt. Nope.
I remember those. I'd be stunned if school nurses weren't kept busy with the amount of kids choking on them.

Electronic_Renaissance whats for dinner fella? No point in asking WAbulldog ……. The man is a 5 ⭐️ Michelin man!! 😝
(No sarcasm intended!)
I was planning to have fish but I still had some meatloaf leftover so finished that. That certaining went further than I expected.

For lunch I wasn't hungry and wanted something light. A simple sandwich, wholemeal bread, cucumber, tomato and onion with Dijon mustard. It's lunchtime now and I'm not very hungry again. Maybe I'll just have nothing and a snack later.

I have the next few days planned out.

Tonight will be crumbed fish with a lemon flavour. Just something simple with chips and salad.
Thursday will be pork medallions. They are quite large and thick but are very good with hardly any fat on them.
I bought some chicken fillets yesterday so will be having satay chicken with rice on Friday.
Also bought some pre-seasoned herb and garlic split chicken to roast with veges on Saturday.

Plus I picked up all my veges and a few bakery products so I am fully stocked at the moment. Also got some beef mince to make my famous burgers.

But what is going on with potatoes? The price has suddenly nearly doubled. Is it just a WA thing?

I have honestly never seen Eggplant Parmi or Eggplant Parma

Just Eggplant Parmigiana

Even Petracca agrees - thanks por_please_ya

That is true Parmigiana that recipe. What they call Parmigiana here is just some dish someone made up and decided to call it Parmigiana.

I eat by colour. The more colour it has the happier I am and I feel it’s a healthy way to eat! ****s me!

I honestly don’t know if that’s an ADHD thing but I plan my meals around colour.

Last night I made beef strip tacos with Asian flavours, charred corn and pickled red onion.

I don’t generally eat breakfast anyway. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Neither do I. I just started not eating it one day and got used to it. Now in the morning I don't feel hungry at all and don't even think about it.

I hear you! I force my child to have breakfast bc I really don’t want to get her into that shitty habit bc they do say breakfast is the most important meal of the day but my routine doesn’t allow it so I don’t think about it!

They always say that. I thought it was just something made up by cereal companies to get to you to buy their stuff.

A quick Internet search says it is really up for debate and maybe not true. But if I am not hungry I just won't eat anything. I won't have a meal just because you are "supposed to". As I said I don't even think about breakfast anymore. I usually just have a glass of water.

Love your work ER, so organised! Wish I could say the same.

I just had some broccolini in a chili lime dressing and other roast veggies (yeah potatoes are pretty expenny here too) last night. Will probably just have a meal prep masoor dal tonight as I have tennis so will get back late.
