Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

If it's true that there has yet to be any official offers come across our table for Charlie, I'm actually coming around to the idea of keeping him.
Hopefully this has been an eye opener for him and a sobering moment that clubs aren't moving heaven and earth to get him in the door.
If he's smart enough to see that and understand it, he might pull his head out of his arse and take it all a bit more seriously next year.

I reckon its he, who's holding things up by holding out for Geelong. If hes serious about moving, he needs to put a line through them sooner rather then later.

Doesnt seem they will do it themselves. Preffering to hang around like vultures hoping to get him cheap.

Sydney won't make an offer, particularly involving players while hes not their club of choice.

Essentially they should have to buy out the contract. But that would all need to be written in there to start with. Buy-out from either side potentially.

Pickett will 100% ask for a trade in the next 2 years, particularly now the dees look likely to go down the bottom.

For years we've been a decent side when the best 22 is fit, but a few injuries and we are left with no-one to plug gaps.

Our list management strategy is clearly in response to this - all about building depth rather than adding top line talent.

One thing's for sure - we're going to be completely loaded with fringe players in 2026.

But I'd like to see a few more players in the mix that are pushing for our best ~10.

This approach will definitely improve our floor, but I'm not sure it moves our ceiling at all.

Nah, Sam has navy blue blood running through his veins and he will be a one club player imo. He and Charlie have very different personalities.

Sam is driven and super dedicated to getting the best out of himself. He calls a spade, a spade. As evidenced by his comments on Charlie.

Don't think it will happen yet, maybe one or two years from now and Sam should be the next captain, then Jagga after that pretty likely.
