Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Much like he admires the work ethic of this year's JNM George Hewett, yes I believe there is something in bringing in players that come from far better culture than we've been able to breed for the past 10 years.

As Carlton supporters we need to get real about where we're at. We are culturally inept and our standards have been rock bottom for far too long.

We are culturally inept and James Rowbottom would not make any difference to our midfield. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Hard working tough inside mids who can't kick are the last thing we're lacking on our list.

He'd be a first receiver type if anything imo. Would love him to add c*** and tackling pressure for us but its never really been his game thus far.

Hard runner and a lovely user going inside 50, those are his main two weapons.

Midfield balance is key. We have too many slow inside mids who cant kick, hence why we got rid of Kennedy last year for a 2nd rounder.

Rowbottom would just be adding to the logjam.

Did he play solely in the Swan's midfield? His average disposals seems quite low..only 16. High tackles though @ 7.3 per game.

I edited the post from Dunkley and Atkins to just Atkins to be fair to them. Not sure if they responded to it before it was edited.

And thats purely because Dunkley is so good at what he does we'd be better off shipping out some of our inside mids to fit him in.
