Torn on Window.
Could straight swap her to Molloy at F5, finishing the FWD line, leaving me enough for Thomas as the McLaughlin correction
or I could downgrade her to a Wall type at F5, allowing me any DEF that isn't Chaplin.
or I could hold her if named and roll the dice.
Either way, Blackburn to Nanscawen at M5 is locked in, just accepting I'm never getting up to Gardiner and honestly like watching Nansc play more.
Mostly tempted to just lock in Molloy and be done with everything that isn't the DEF line and bench.

It's the move that makes the most sense I think, just like the simplicity of focusing on DEF and bench for the rest of the season.

Forced trade on Heath. Second week in a row I've brought in a player only to have them get an injury. At least they both did so near the end of the game.

Well, that changes things.
Will have to ride one of Window or McLaughlin now. That's not ideal. Bloody awkward price too with McLaughlin also needing to go. Can I bring in two Charlie Thomas's? EOD?
Georgostathis also out for the season for anyone still holding.
I'm considering Kearney or Thomas. Is it crazy to consider Kearney, who has low TOG and has previously been tagged out of a match? I haven't watched many West Coast games, but Thomas' highest score of the year is 78, despite taking majority of kick ins. She's also only 73% playing on from kick ins. Can't afford Gay or O'Driscoll. The other crazy option is Chelsea Randall, but I don't feel like she will play this week, since she's only started re-training with the group today.
or another option: Everist? Has GC.

I’m already a Kearney owner and I hate it, so much. One of my biggest misses of the season; paid up after her spike, and could have got better returns and saved myself $400k.
I am also seriously considering McLaughlin to Kearney to fund my forward upgrades. Someone talk me out of it please

Could just hold Heath, do my planned trades, and take the best of those two if named. McLaughlin has to go I think, it's just too much risk she blows $100K+ even if the role returns. Heath can't lose cash, and could be back next week, given it's listed as 1-2 and only a finger.
There's just not two mid price defenders I actually want, and it's buggering everything else up. Even Thomas I don't super love, it's just ok.

Well, going Woodland to Window only for her to be a late out without me knowing cooked me. Even moreso with Kos as the replacement also out injured!
Anyway, only lost 200 odd ranking spots, so could be worse!
Desperately need to fix F5, and hopefully Window is back, otherwise will be a wasted forced trade.

It shouldn't be too hard to get Grunden to Stone. That's the F5 fix I'd go with. Window has been named.
Named in the backline. We'll see if she actually plays there. Either way, McLaughlin is out of my side.
Chaplin started out with a 39 and a 51. Even after the round 3 109, it would have been pretty brave bringing her in.
It will be interesting to see if she gets more CBAs with Heath out.
Return of Reidy and named on field in the midfield. Will probably change to bench before the game, but it's guaranteed she will play.
Fortunately, I don't need her as a loop this week. Also fortunately, she can't lose any more money.

She was named there last week aswell, but im holding aswell, trading Koenen first.
That's the exact move I made haha, thanks mate!
I traded out Stone like most when her spot in the middle looked cooked back in Rounds 4-5, but she is still able to score well enough most weeks and getting CBAs once more, so seems value at her pricepoint.

Looking for value picks, and less stressed about midfield bench cover as would want to replace any injured on field MID (fingers crossed….!!)

Getting Blackburn in was a miss, tho I'll take the $60K, and I'm treating it as a forced trade. Given the low scores everywhere that keep popping up I feel like keeping a loop may be worth it, and I don't love both Thomas & Everist.

I don't like the idea of fielding Rigoni, even though Freo are a great matchup for defenders. The difference between VC and C may not be much compared to Rigoni and Thomas or even Everist.

Can't get to Ella Roberts for M5 liked I'd hoped unless I trade Young (bench) which seems unwise given there's limited cash gen.
Squeeze Young and there's a small upgrade (read, "sideways correction") possible next week.. Roberts going 125+ v Adelaide though.
Bogue may be an issue, and I could go back to Stone with her mid minutes for trade 3 but seems pretty sideways.
