Thats usually a good sign, when both teams supporters feel like they lost haha
This is probably where its at. I'm not really sure the value of Pick 41 for us, can we use it in another trade, not sure, do we want to take it to the draft, again I'm not sure, but yes we'd like a little bit more, and you guys would like a little bit less, thats usually when you find yourself in the sweet spot of the trade.

I think Eagles end up moving 34 38 and 41 to move up the order

Right now Edwards is firmly ahead of Young. He filled Gov’s shoes pretty well for the whole second half of the season.

We actually have a good defense sadly enough. Young is 6th best defender in that group of

If they thought he was of similar ability to Baker, they'd be wanting a similar trade result, and while 14 and 41 have the same digits, they're not of similar value (especially when you factor in the quality of the drafts).
So maybe, just maybe, the comment was regarding WCE fans drastically underrating players they're trying to draft in when trying to assess their trade value.
When 34 always seemed a bit high, and 53 seemed too low....Then it makes sense that one of 38 or 41 seems about right.
Not worth having a coronary about a late 2nd in a weak draft, especially when the alternatives just a few picks away.
It'll be 41 most likely, or a shuffling of top 10 picks if they want pick 2.

If we move 13 up the board with our seconds I don’t hate trading 2 out to 3 or 4 to secure Young. Just depends on other moving parts. I don’t trust us not to **** up and take CDT

Baker isn’t our best player, and definitely wasn’t at the time of the trade. We had an AA KPD and AA KPF at the time ( and still the KPF), 1st in the B&F doesn’t change that.
Who won your B & F ?
Where is did your 2 AA players finish in this years B & F
We did say that Baker would be your captain and 1 of your best players and is also the best leader at your club now
No i expect him to be a very average footballer that will be delisted once his contract is finished
only played 35 games as a 27 year old and coming off a knee

Was Liam Baker a better player than the best defender in the modern era at the end of last season?

There’s a clear difference between best player and best and fairest winner. Or was Dustin Martin only Richmond’s best player in the years 2016 and 2017?
Going into the season there’s not a person on earth (apart from you apparently) that would have said Baker is a better player than McGovern.

Good to see Eagles supporters concede that Hough is a defender not a mid.
He’s always projected his best position to be down back. Baker and Allan will also give them some run down there as well.
Young goes straight into a key position defence post. Robertson goes straight into their midfield lineup. Starcevich becomes an important role player down back.
They’ve done really well this off season getting retreads in to improve their side in the short term.

Young is better than Ratogolea and he was pick 25 + 2 junk picks (that ended up Stevens and Humphries!)
