Now that our season is over, and news is starting to break - it's time for a fresh thread.

This thread is to discuss all things list management - trades, draft, free agency, delistings and more.
As we are now officially in our off-season, we'll be wanting to keep this thread more strictly on-topic than the previous iterations.

2025 KEY DATES
Free Agency Period: Friday, October 3rd - Friday, October 10th
Trade Period: Monday, October 6th - Wednesday, October 15th
AFL Draft: Wednesday, November 19th - Thursday, November 20th

I love Windy but he'll never get to the elite bracket. Mids really need some x factor for that.

Atkins is an elite defensive mid and they’re vital for the stars to shine.

Look at Carlton’s midfield, full of ball winning guys and **** all doing the two way stuff so they’re bang average. Windy would be as critical as anyone even though he might not look like Nas

Now l didn't say he wouldn't be critical and l don't know who this Napkins kent is, l just said l don't see Windy hitting the elite bracket. For mine that's top 5-6 mids in the comp in any one year.

That’s fair, I think two way mids are criminally under rated and windy could be absolutely elite in that catagorey imo (he might already be pretty close)

Saints insta did a Hall highlight package today and Nas was in alot of it.

Weve got a wonderful little Trio there with Flanders to add into that mix too.

Yeah fingers crossed it looks like we have a fairly good standard midfield for next year

He is the quintessential modern day Hawks player, glad we cucked them in the MSD.
Players like him, Hastie,Boxshall, even Garcia dont get much of the attention. If they are making up our bottom six, we are going alright.

Very interested as to what their shortcomings were seen as? Not privy to such things as really from the outside you simply hear “great appointment, well respected”.
Even from the outside some appointments seem a little “odd/left field” but not so much these two.
With Lethlean I’m aware of his social misdemeanours but not professionally…

Lethers was just dumped on pathetic little St. Kilda by his mates at AFL house with absolutely no club experience and we were supposed to be grateful. One huge reason why I am happy to be close to debt free and not so beholden to AFL house in future.

He may become elite as a leader. An alpha dog.

That type is often ignored. Onfield generals with presence and gravitas are just as important.

I can see him being like that.

A good yapper when he needs to be and flying the flag when necessary.

Actually l don't really watch footy anymore aside from most of our games. Didn't watch a single game of the final series this year and spent the GF on a bush walk with my kid. If l weren't invested in Stkilda I'd watch none of it.
They should just call it umpireball at this point and have 46 umpires, no contact and no touching the ball. Change the GF sprint to backwards running with 18 umpires, with the outcome predetermined by Sportsbet 2 mins before the race.

You should avoid stepping on a Barrett, too smelly and messy to clean afterwards
