OK people - long time watcher (often shaking my head) but only very occasional poster.

Like everyone, I am caught up in the excitement about next week. Unlike many, I'm happy to say that I know very little about the players and am happy to put my faith in our recruiting team. And whoever we pick, I will throw my support behind emphatically.

Here is my issue, though: I have just arrived in Bali for a little 9-night pre-'smash out the end of the year' break. I just tried Kayo and like the betting apps, it isn't available in my location.

Any idea how I could watch the draft otherwise?
othewise there's the AFL website version without the live vision.

Peter Matera at South Freo. Then did the same in the AFL in the 90s

Yes. Peter Matera finished runner up in 1994

Don’t know, I was not even a tadpole in a nutsack in the 50s

See above

Did you username end with “Mushroom” at any stage?
Peter Matera was not like Buddy.

Peter Matera did not command the ball in the forward line like Buddy.

What you do not know about the 1950's is not my problem

the point is a player like Buddy in terms of forward prowess has never done anything like he has on a flank have they before???

Grieg was arguably a better player than Richo but no one before Richo has done what he done at his height on a wing beforehand have they???

the point is different players are coming in and different ways to play are emerging that help win football games. Jeremy Cameron running up through the midfield is another example. kicking around the corner on his left with different rules has changed methods on the boundary regularly from deep

When I’m OS I watch the footy on AFL live. Not sure how much it costs as it’s my sons account. It’s basically a foxtel feed.

2010 - Pick 6 Reece Conca feels .
Top 10 pick on a non Key sized defender .
had a look at the 2012 draft.

Vlastuin was captain was he not beforehand and that was a weaker draft. Whitfield a gun, power of hindsight but no Cummings, Sharp/ CDT and Duursma's in that draft, Vlastuin pick 9 to, Grundy was in the draft and I could not believe he slipped like he did

on reflection Grundy was South Australian and he slipped

Welcome to Richmond, Jayden Post

God I hope Yappie Dribbles is wrong would be disappointed if that’s the way it lands. Underwhelming big time

Well he has never been right before so I doubt he starts now

Talking to a young fella at work today who knows Sully Robey really well.
Says he’s an absolute gym rat. Been going nuts in the home made gym with his brother for last 18 months and has become an absolute powerhouse. Said his family are pretty well off and he’s got a younger brother aswell.
Also said he was given the option of missing the grand final with his broken collar bone but told them he was going to play no matter what.
All this information was in the interview few weeks back

Entertaining thread, for despite who each individual posting here is spruiking as our men, whoever we select will immediately be proclaimed the steal of the draft, or the hands down best prospect in the draft, while WC, Essendon, Melbourne and five other clubs all failed.
We'll have three more guys put on a pedestal, while most will find a way to diss talent that goes elsewhere.
