On the clearances there’s 15 players from Woori to YJYarra Junction have been busy recruiting Woori 2s players. Must be seriously frustrating for them..

Have also lost their 3 best players in Holmes, Phillips and Cramp
Haven't heard much out of Powelly - don't know how they get a list together without again offering silly money.
Yep, ridiculous. Feel for Woori who now need to basically recruit a new 2s side from where?Yarra Junction has literally taken the whole reserves team from Woori. Terrible recruiting strategy. I understand that it's tough recruiting to a team that hasn't been winning, but letting your new coach take this many players from his old club is wrong.
Their reserves coach went there and poached them out. Pretty ordinary and will be little benefit to either club.Have woori ever cared about their 2’s? Don’t reckon 15 blokes would be leaving a good senior/reserves culture

They need numbers, but they also need half decent players who can play footy. They lost all there decent players ( I say decent very lightly) already this off season and the only recruits they've brought in are reserves players. I get why they're doing it, it's the easy way of recruiting by offering a bit of cash to players who aren't going to get paid anywhere else to play footy. But i see this strategy ending with them having another potential win less season. It will be numbers to YJ and that’s what they need.
I think they would still beat Powelly from what i'm hearing. They need numbers, but they also need half decent players who can play footy. I reckon a Auskick team could beat both of them at this rate. Sad to see, because the next thing that happens with small country clubs like these 2 is that they end up going into recess because they can't recruit or retain. The plus side of both of them is that they're both pretty well off for cash, but if you're only bringing in reserves players from other local clubs I don't think that will change there fortunes too much.I think they would still beat Powelly from what i'm hearing.

yep, you can really ignore what doesn't exist - how may kids live within a 15 min drive of Powelltown?
I prefer it when you DM me random rumours champDon’t comment on things you know nothing about.
If the league has any sense they’d step in here. What’s the point of pillaging Woori’s reserves to survive and resulting in 2 clubs cooked.
Seems a lot like a culture issue. You can pretty well guarantee they’re not going to lose 15 blokes if they felt valued, regardless of the coach.Their reserves coach went there and poached them out. Pretty ordinary and will be little benefit to either club.
