Should be a straight forward tear up the contract if he’s not even training with the club for half the year. Why should he remain on the list.
When he missed those last 3 Maggie’s game I posted that the AFL should have bought into this mess and now it’s going to get messier with his Melbourne business, etc. AFL to allow us to tear up his contract and leave a space for us on our list. The bloke does not want to be here. A very unprofessional situation now happening.

That’s the funny bit like I could see clubs allowing a gun to have a more flexible lifestyle

But not a reserves spud
Career at the crossroads with a new look coaching group to impress you'd think you'd be pulling all the stops.

The fashion label better work because he'd already be on the nose with the new coaches.

I can’t get over how much of a simp Ivan is

Daily mail yesterday now also talking about this at least he isn’t walking the dog alone today

And confirming he is splitting time between Adelaide and Melbourne in season lol

Blokes been in Melbourne all week instead of training lol
The couple have been kept busy this year with launching their fashion label, I'm Taken, as well as setting up a new house in Melbourne's South Yarra.

'[It's been] madness,' Chelsea said. 'We've just got a place here in Melbourne and at the moment we're just unpacking and trying to settle in.'

Ivan added that he will be dividing his time between Adelaide and Melbourne during the AFL season.

'It will be hard,' he admitted. 'But we'll make sure we can visit as often as we can.'
I wonder if this drop kick can actually execute a drop kick.

The reality is if he's showing up when he's required to be present there's not much they can do, it's garbage for rest & rehab jumping on a plane every 5 minutes (especially when you are all beanstalk 'n nose) and it will put the coaching staff off him that's about it.

If you thought the Crows looked far fitter & stronger than us over the past few years, Chad Cornes might have the answer. He reckons their off season preparation, led by Jordan Dawson is second to none. Apparently even on their days off, up to half the squad are collectively doing extra weight & fitness sessions.

Makes you wonder just how far our football culture deteriorated under Ken. The Crows were pumping weights, while we were investing our downtime in forming gambling syndicates.

Lol literally no one was saying the crows were fitter and stronger than us prior to season 2025.
I'm still not sure they are it's just one guy with a beard that bulked up when while he couldn't run & they went to fertiliser in the finals looking no bigger than anyone else. Brisbane's mids look more cut.

Second to none, led by the Hulk Jordan Dawson.

Our poor fitness and concerns around that have been regular talking points over the last couple-few preseasons. Whilst I dont remember direct comparisons, it wouldnt surprise me.

PAFC Practice Friday 12th Dec 2025.
Hot 35C
First time for years I managed to get there.

Todd still running laps and sprints for two hours+. Todd later had defense practice. Still brilliant skills by foot.

Pep and Xavier Walsh also only running, with Paul Stewart alongside who is very fit.

JHF exercised separately as well, slight limp?

Lukosius arrived late, left arm in sling.

Choco type kick to kick line with players in a line close together. Embarrassing if you miss.

Teaching kicking skills.

Game simulation: red, yellow, no colour top groups, had to pick out team mates in traffic, like three simultaneous games on the one oval. Quite a bit of game simulation during the morning, where all were moving all the time.

Screen on building used for info and count down.

Logan Evans seemed to have mojo and skills back, mostly.
Mani Liddy good skills, looked good.
Berry better, more agile through traffic, nice boot.
Stephenson and other train-ons keeping up.
Butters did almost all of the simulations, then walked around the oval.
Soldo seemed quite fit, can jump high, but a slow conveyance.
Wehr still building fitness? I'm no expert.
BZT is a good kick.
Cochrane a bit slow.
Durdin kept up with the others - strong body.
Durdin and Stephens both forward in simulations.

Morning was well organised by staff, no breaks nor standing around chatting! Solid efforts by all.

Forward entry practice good to see.

Finished with 4 sprints at least up and down the oval. At the end of 2.5 hours in the heat they were exhausted.

I had built up a good appetite by then so I had a lamb shank - salty but very nice.

Sounds perfect, I prefer salty than not enough salt.

Lukosius arrived late, left arm in sling.
Lol...this bloke is fast becoming the new Orazio, made of tissue paper.

Im not sure there is any player that has ever been on our AFL, SNAFL or AFLW lists that Ive cared about less than Ivan Soldo. Let him stay in Melbourne.

Thanks for the update, good to read a supporter's view. I had heard training has been intense under the new regime and your observations seem to support this.

Poor Luko, decided it's the upper body's turn to suffer this year.

I have no love for him and it’s clear he doesn’t want to fight it out for a spot but to say he hasn’t been at training all week is just wrong.

From your post it sounds like this extra work was inspired by there caption and has nothing too do with the coaching staff.
While down at Alberton it’s all making jewelry and hanging out.
This has nothing to do with Hinkley it’s all about the players and the captain happily plodding alone.
As said before the Hinkley hysteria has taken over this forum in plague proportion.

All week until today

Was in Melb from Sunday according to that article and flew back yesterday arvo for this mornings training
