I would say all of those clubs and then the giants, ect would be well over salary, but its the clubs that are clever about it leading up to not get caught- you would think Burras, Dimmy & Nhill are out of that discussion, losing a lot more than gained. leaves Stawell & Warrack!

Who have Nhill lost ? We know dimmy have lost a lot of their guns and burras have lost tanner smith

I don’t think they’ve lost more than gained. Deek’s not the player he was 6-7 years ago, Reid missed half the season, Harrap is one of the most loved recruits of all time but his body hasn’t been kind last few seasons.
I’d say Frazer Driscoll is as good as a recruit this year, only played a couple during the season before injured and then played on one leg in the finals and was best.

Keep an eye out for Jobe Dickinson too, my call is he’ll force selection into the Rebels mid season and the Tigers won’t see him much after June.

Loosing deek hurts, still pretty good and in his first year there won them a final off his own boot. Zimmermann was good to have so Batson could go forward more, have picked up them 3 quality players though and Driscoll will be up their for the league medal if he plays all year

Definitely would call Driscoll a recruit if he plays the full year, especially with Politis not flying back down, giving that bigger body again. Batson's retirement puts a bit of a hole in the ruck stocks if Zimmerman has gone too. Dont know anything about Tom Wheaton but the CV looks to be a decent player for sure! is he a relation to the Wheatons in nhill? Lachlan Ryan will only be just.. but in saying that Its still a number not out of the reserves!

Dimmy- Landts x2, J.Ross, J.Calder, T.Kent, P.Macdonough You would say thats 6 out of their top 10 for sure.
Burras- Tanner Smith, Mcintyres x2, Josh Roman, Kid Brothers x2, Joseph Clancy, / 6 out their top 10 too!
Nhil- Deek, Darcy reid, Polits, Zimmerman, Harrap, Batson retired he says & would Clay Shadforth be a chance for a state league? New ruling, be clever to have him at Nhill as his feeder club

Where are the McIntyres going? Thought they had resigned. And not sure that’s 6 out of the top 10. Smith and the McIntyres easily in the top 10 + 1 of the kid brothers but don’t think the others would be

McIntyres resigned ages ago unless they are backflipping on that. So really only 2 top 10 players have left from burras.

Pretty confident he signed on again at the club he kicked a heap of goals for in the EFNL, I remember seeing it because I thought he might have been on the Thunders radar. Would be great to see though!

Been oddly quiet at Thunder, find it hard to believe there isn’t something happening. No shortage of cash that’s for sure

They’ve recruited well again- I asked the question last night to one the Hopetoun guys and they’ve been told it’s a thing so maybe the cash was too good to turn down even after signing Doncaster??.They’re smart in not posting publicly to avoid the scrutiny & heat of the ammount they bring in. Thunder will be top 2,3 again no doubt

Schache has resigned at Doncaster. Find that very hard to believe. What’s happening at Dimboola land Rooboy? Heading up North again?

Looking like top 4 will be rats, warriors, thunder and warrack. Nhill and saints fighting for 5th. Dimmy wooden spoon. Thunder pretty secretive but always have a gun travelling squad so should be in finals again don’t see them going from granny to missing finals

Agree with that. Rats & Stawell 1-2. Thunder probably don’t need to add too much in order to be competitive again. Need to improve their depth though. I think Nhill will be big improvers from last year! Dont think they have lost too much of value. Some serious additions too! Can’t see them missing finals. I’d be surprised if either Horsham side made finals

Yeah saints have picked up a few but don’t see them making finals either. Demons should improve on last year with the couple they’ve added
