Yes, I also can’t believe that we named 3 blokes to the extended squad who aren’t going to play. Like every team every week playing on a Sunday does, and has to. Unforgivable.

Someone has to miss the VFL game to be cover for the AFL side in case of a late change. I expect that’s what Cox has been named for

Form wise cox should be dropped from vfl back to local. It makes sense as the holdover emergency who is never actually going to play.

We are going to get pumped so no point rushing robey, ridley, el ahkar, byran, even edwards into the seniors.

Edwards might play but taking a proper long term view all of the above really need a full vfl game before playing in the seniors.

Cox and guelfi the holdover. Nguyen the actual emergency - 1st in. Nguyen plays a taxing style so if misses a week of footy, not stressed. Cox and guelfi are sacrifices. Who cares. To important for others on the list to play a game and get some minutes in the vfl.

Gerryn gets a gig and Edwards left out as bit rough 1 vfl game and straight in. Probably needs another week of vfl.

Gerryn is a fair way off but gives flexibility.

Its the only justification for the selected squad i can make.

We were pretty good against the roos, we won xscore by 2 goals

For all Scott's huff and puff there is not much change. Understand you don't want to expose all the kids to a flogging but there should be form consequences. Otherwise what is the point of busting your gut in the VFL.

If there are no consequences for foor form next week coming into Gather round then we need change. Not saying straight away, but at seasons end. Scott did the same at North.

We need to use the bench and develop our next generation for years beyond this season.

There form wasnt poor, they will be dropped after this week v the dogs if it happens

We then have most of these potentially available ( DSharp, Fiorini, Bryan, Robey, Ridley, Caddy, AClarke ect)

No one is really busting their gut in the VFL right now
