I'd take a kid in the PSD. Perhaps a Gourdis or a McGinnity. Even Jackson Hall would be a good selection. Some very good kids are going to be selected in the PSD/RD this year.

What happened to Ryley Dunn, aren't we still keen in him? How about Clayton Collard? Have we invited Ash McGrath over or is that speculation?
We have 1 senior list and 4 rookie spots to fill.....does Shields count as one of those rookies ?? In other words if we sign Shields does that mean we only pick 3 kids in the rookie draft?
No, they go on to the international rookie list, which i think, clubs can hold up to four atm.
I so don't want Ashley McGrath. Would much rather a kid. If there's nobody of value in the PSD in terms of experienced players, my preference would be Bellchambers. From the limited amount ive seen and heard of him i rkn this guy seems pretty decent. If he is the most talented kid left, then i say go for him. People who think our rucks are sorted out are wrong imo. Cloke, Ackland and Jacobs will never be quality rucks, and both Hampson and Aisake are/were raw and new to the game so who knows how they'll turn up. The Lions have shown that you can never have too many rucks (even if it just means they'll provide good trade opportunities), and I think adding Bellchambers to the list would be a pretty good get. Gourdis and McGinnity i also wouldn't mind although Gourdis im not too keen about as considering all the talent people claim he has there must be a reason no club wanted him

Becuase there were some players that quite a few of us would have been 50/50 on them, and then there were some straight out of left field.
These rumours of us picking up a gun senior player must be coming from somehere, but I honestly can't see it.

Greg Swann on SEN this AM said that at this stage they are looking at another kid.........the next one on their list from the draft.
He said with McGrath re-signing today there isn't much left with the recycled players, and that another kid would be the most likely pick.

Yeah I heard that too. It was also interesting to hear from Swann that there will be five players that have been invited to train with us, that will be taking part in training over the next two weeks.

Obviously we shook the tree and failed to get a bite because we have pick two in the PSD.
Hmmmm, maybe we should have used pick 65 on a 17 year old or drafted that kid when we had the chance.
