    Unlikely. Doubt any of the southport players would go to the suns. Potentially the swans would take a few Sydney uni players. Then there’s Canberra who would take plenty from the Riverina who would want to be apart of this comp whereas they didn’t think the Neafl would be worth it.

    Compete, sure. Beat, well unlikely I agree however if Both aspley and Redland go back to AflQ you can be sure their best players will go across to the side playing the the eafl which would make them really strong and in my opinion a very good side.

    Agree. Maybe Neafl back in 2014 when there was 4 sides in Canberra alone. But I’d have my money on Southport knocking off frankston and Coburg. Definitely doesn’t get the credit it deserves in terms of growth over the past 3-4 years

    That and also you blokes have 10 listed players who can’t get a kick in the Neafl and shouldn’t be on a list in the first place. Also there’s not a chance NT will feature in this comp. They were horrid this year and struggled to even got blokes to get on the plane.

    Second tier football

    Merge the Vfl and Neafl with have a 17 team comp. The northern Afl sides + Sydney uni, Southport and Canberra into the VFL.

    Baker & Smout from Canberra both averaged over 30 a game last year. Matt hammelman again possibly?

    Been following him amongst others from Canberra as well. He hasn’t had under 35 for the past 4 weeks. And only gone under 30 twice on the year according to the Neafl. Would be a good get for the saints, watched him have 40 against the giants earlier in the year.
