no I don't like the idea of every team having to wait on every other team to see what picks they have based on free agency, ladder position (for future picks), and trades. its crap. i just used two relevant examples that are currently causing our salary cap issues.
locking in the first round...
would love to see picks 1 - 18 become untouchable/unmovable/untradeable i.e. cant be moved by free agency or priority picks or anything. every club must make a first round draft selection based on ladder position. Trading future first rounders seems to mess us around more than most clubs in...
I remember this being brought up a few years ago, sorry if already been discussed but does Cox's VISA cause any issues with him changing club? (i.e. change of employer)
edit: Nevermind
I've seen it be suggested that Pendles was on a fixed % of the salary cap.
wouldn't it just be easier to do that with all players? guessing match payments an so on would get muddy very quickly.
i dont believe it is, i think that was the old system. then it dropped to 112k per veteran, now i think its gone altogether.
i did a bit of a search and i cant find anything definitive. but my work pc restricts a lot of sites.
more than happy to be corrected.
each team has 11 home state games, 11 away state games
so what if geelong plays richmond in perth or brisbane plays adelaide at the mcg.
(yes sh!t idea, but meh)
