Autopsy 2026 Round 2 - GWS vs St Kilda @ Engie Stadium, 4.15pm Saturday 21st March

Brown tries and pressures. I have a bit of time for him even if he's not as effective as he could be. Riccardi has the same awareness of roadkill. Dropping a chest mark. Putting his head down and jogging away from teammates when they try to play on. Selfish play. Absolute shocker.

Definitely plenty more Giants fans, but that first quarter left a lot quiet.

Heard very similar too. The sticking point on the initial Fev trade was that Rischitelli wouldn't sign a contract extension with the Blues beyond the end of the following season (hmmm), so the Blues knocked it back.

Didn't think to book parking so looked at the buses. The 525 isn't running today for some reason? Maybe because the event buses are running... but they only kick off during our game. WTF all up.

When it's just the light rail, it doesn't work. They stopped running the buses at points last year and it was a failure, so it was good to see them back. Ultimately you've got buses + light rail + walking (~ 2km) to get back to Central to get people on to trains.

This is basically what the Swans do - there's a reserved loop for post-game bus line ups at the SCG to send people back to Central. The line up is always crazy to get on, because you just can't load buses at the same speed that you can trains.

I don't know that he's got any particular grudge against the Lions, but he's absolutely a Suns man these days. Spent the last half of his career there, got to be one of the leaders of the club, foundation player, etc. It'll probably be a bit like Blakey - sure, he was eligible for us but...

Thursday night is all about the TV and the ads. The crowd is only there to provide the pretense of an atmosphere.

Matt Smith (the Labor MP) played basketball for the Cairns Taipans for four years, and the Marlins for another handful. Definitely biased. :D FYI Michael Healy is the state member for Cairns, not mayor.

It's Barlow Park. I love that the field cuts into the running track and that the roof doesn't extend the full length of the stadium, but you can still only put so much lipstick on a pig.
