    I don't think all those are lost to Lanky just yet, after speaking to a few of them lately. Troy Mitchell may be the only one who moves on, which would be disappointing considering he is a local and it's a centenary year.

    Tippett is more chance of winning the Coleman than Williams. Worth remembering that Williams only kicked 16 goals(Tippett kicked 31) in 2009 and was 3rd forward for a reason. He'll be lucky to kick 50 goals for the season in 2010.

    The injuries are a concern. Considering what happened to Hawthorn last season, on the back of a poor preseason and some injuries. I still hold out hope that we can collect ourselves in the next few weeks and get a good run at the first round.

    Yes. It seems that the only people tipping Essendon to finish in the 8 are in fact Essendon supporters ( have a look at this thread), who have clearly overestimated the ability of their list on the back of a lucky finals spot in 2009.
