    I would love you to be correct. If it was up to me, I’d demand Allan back it up with a couple of repeat performances in the VFL and then bring him in against the WCoast. Playing him against Cats seems to have far more downside risk than upside potential.

    It might prove to be a necessity but gee a ruck combo of Steene & Buller is a concern. Perhaps it won’t be exposed badly against the Cats but a week later against the Swans might be a different story. Hopefully DC gets up.

    15.3 is abnormally accurate. We lost virtually every other metric, so can’t be too unhappy to walk away with 2 points. Hopefully Perryman not out for too long and Darcy Cameron OK. Will be good to get Pendles, Howe and McCreery back. West in for Buller?

    Yeah, fair enough. It’s just disappointing that all of Pendles, Howe and McCreery each just played their best games of the season and will now miss against a powerful Hawks outfit. I'm a bit bummed!

    Nightmare. Basically throwing the game. Unlike Geelong, historically we've never been very good at managing players without also killing the team's momentum. This shapes as another example of that.

    You're probably correct. Personally, I wouldn't be dropping Howe, especially with dodgy Moore returning. Who knows how many minutes he'll last this time? Howe's game against the Bombers was the best he has played in ages.
