Yep, with the tragic injury to Elliott, there's not much sizzle or X-factor in the current side.

We get it from Nick, DeGoey and glimpses from McCreery but that's about it. We desperately need Josh and Dan Houston playing with more boldness. And Schultz needs to actually convert the opportunities that his pressure creates. Those things would help lift the excitement level.

I'm trying to think of an equivalent period, list-wise. Perhaps the mid- to late-90's but even during that period we at least had the Rocca brothers and Buckley to generate some excitement.
McCreery has done sfa this season so far.

VFL always trolling us with their bye timings
I keep expecting an AFL announcement. Along the lines of
“After several years of successfully trialing byes and season length differences, the VFL is now moving to a summer competition.” 🤬😡🤬😡
I can’t find much intelligence in AFL/VFL schedules. The match sequences and overlaps just mess with my mind.

Nailed it!

I also predicted another decade of misery for Carlton so fingers crossed!

There's no way anyone can predict or have any idea about what Bobby is upto or where he's at. Are you actually Bobby Hill?

We do but at best he’d be 5 or 6 weeks away wouldn’t he?
It'd depend on what he's been doing. If he's been doing what I do with a few weeks off - he'd be a couple of years away. If what Pendles does with that time - he'll play Easter Monday.

Bobby has taken breaks and returned in a variety of conditions according to watchers. At this stage I hope the personnel time helps his mental state. He was frustrated last year when the club saw his fitness as not suitable for game day and he felt right. I hope he has found a good balance and returns better than expectations. He has done this before. He is still a long term Collingwood contracted player.

Yes. We're not exactly overflowing with X-factor, so its a big problem when those who do have a bit of it, like McCreery, Josh, Houston and Schultz don't play to their abilities, especially on top of the absences of Hill and Elliott.

At least DeGoey has really gotten back to his best over the past few weeks.

Nothing personal, Bobby.

Everyone %^*#s up one way or another in life, I guess.

But I'm 'glass half broken on the floor' at this point.
If he leaves and stars at another club, I'm going to pick up the broken glass and use it as a weapon.

Seemingly absent from everywhere and everything (social media, training etc), to back into everything all at once. Seems very similar to last time...

Bobby is doing my head in, I want him then I don't, I want him then I don't, please stop !!!!!!!
Never thought it would be smooth. The best value for Collingwood would be Bobby playing out his contract, I would be happy with one year to gain trade value. Any short game at this stage is an increased loss. I will hold onto my hopes, even if I look totally stupid or even if I start to rant.

It's time to plaaaaaay.......Bobby Lotto, how many games will Bobby play this year, and what round will he return?

And the supplementary question: Will it be in short sleeves or long?

Everyone's a winner...
