    Yeah torrential rain during the end of the Ressies game at Pine but then the lightning started to hit. Game was delayed initially because of it. And then it came back. Wynnum were playing really well but just had a lapse in the third before the game was stopped.

    I played all my junior footy and my very first senior games at Zillmere. I think its great to see them stepping up even though it will most likely be a tough year for them but life is a marathon not a sprint. Cannot wait to play them at Zillmere to relive some old memories

    Wynnum have been to Friday Nights and back again back in 2015, where Thommo's mob cleaned up up in the final. We were not going to Friday nights this year unless headquarters made us. We are fine with numbers just lost too many Div 1 quality players to remain in that competition.

    From what I remember they had quite a few guys doubling up each week to make the numbers. One way to get your game numbers up as a player! LOL.
