Longer he spends in the SANFL?? **** me, we're all about the immediate titillation. He has consistently been the best amongst his age group, and he's had a few injuries last year and this. He's EIGHTEEN MONTHS into his career, and a bloody kid. Christ, people need to relax. -

I would assume the game plan of every professional coach in the world is based on maximising what their players can actually do. I also think every coach in the AFL wants more speed, and our coaching staff would be exactly the same. -

That was bull shit as well. Admittedly, less so considering Borlase never played AFL, but it still stinks. I think if your parents have played at state league level in any state you shouldn't qualify for a next gen pathway. -

If they can afford to match, then he would choose to stay. If they match, then unfortunately they can keep him. He's not worth overpaying for if he's not a true free agent. In any event, they CAN'T afford to match. That seems to have been very widely said. -

Agree about Nankervis. I'd love to see him step up but he hasn't been. I think the obsession with Cumming is a bit ridiculous. He nearly always makes good decisions and does the team orientated thing. He obviously hasn't been amazing, but he hasn't been as bad as his board whipping boy status... -

That is exactly why we have Academies in the Northern states and for regional indigenous footballers. It is to increase participation rates and to give them a visible pathway to professional sports. -
