Currently stands at 15-5. That's 300%. Percentage by points for versus points against is currently 144%. Strong chance of improving on both of those by the end of the minor round.
Total losing margin for the Crows so far this season, that is to say all five losses added together, is, I think 59 points.
I'm not sure that that meets the criteria for "pretty ordinary ".
Just by a quick count:
Adelaide, bottom 4 last year, gets 3 out of 6 double games against finalists this year.
Geelong, finalists last year, gets 2 out of 6 double games against finalists this year.
Adelaide get 10 games playing in an away state.
Geelong get how many? Four or five?
If...
Crows were created from all of the SANFL clubs at the time, not just one of them.
This was immensely better for the interests of all SANFL fans than just one SANFL club joining the AFL would have been.
Adelaide haven't had a single loss of that magnitude this season to any team at any venue.
From your own post it is apparently Brisbane that is subject to meltdowns, not Adelaide.
Brisbane beating Collingwood tonight will leave Adelaide top of the ladder 10 or so percentage points clear. How is it then all about Brisbane and Collingwood 3rd and 2nd respectively?
Were YOU watching something else? Rankine did not go forward of the mark. Rankine did not move left or right of the mark. Rankine's only movement was back away from the goals, on the line. Rankine did motion to handball, but he didn't handball. That's not play on.
By the actual rules, Rankine...
Rankine went straight back from the mark in line with the goals. He didn't go forward, nor sideways. He did motion to handball, but you are allowed to do that if you don't go off the line.
Rankine didn't play on. Correct cal for the umpire to not call play on.
