Not really. I think we've gone past the point of debuting Edwards or Ryan just for the sake of it. But Dowling has played before and played well, and if it's Cook he's replacing we're not displacing a set player. Crazy to think he hasn't already gotten a chance this year tbh.

Shoutout to Reilly O'Brien who is in the best form of his career

Agreed, but he had a randomly horrendous 3rd quarter in the middle of a great game (he didn’t touch it for that entire quarter and botched his ruckwork too). Such a strange game with the fluctuations throughout for a number of players and for both teams overall really, but ROB’s 2nd and 4th quarters were absolutely huge and he’ll get coaches votes.

Funny thing ... earlier this year (first 3-4 rounds) Curtin looked lost and it was clear teammates were kicking around him.

Then he found his Mojo --- genuine elite talent and footy nous --- and his teammates now look for him and kick to him, knowing those beautiful hands will take a mark or if it goes to ground he will recover first and go again.

I can't remember such a tall young Crow with his skills bursting out of mediocrity into stardom, so quickly.

I wasn't at the game tonight for once, and during a contest on TV I thought I saw him go down and grab his knee and thought "oh shit, oh no"...

30 seconds later he's up and laying a tackle. This is one tough kid. Mentally as well as physically. The talent is off the charts. We got a diamond.
