Yep. It used to be called Sancta Sophia College before the merger with Therry and Geoghegan. The school started in 1967 and Glenroy as a suburb didn’t really get going until the 50s, so the football club couldn't have existed for very long.- Words: 44

Was just going the list again. I noticed Australian National Airways. I know nothing about the football club but there’s a area on the west side of Glenroy that borders the Moonee Ponds Creek where all street names end in -ana and it because was built by Australian National Airways to house...- Words: 83

Just a bit more on St Olivers. Played juniors there. The official history has them moving to Hosken in 83 but my first year of footy was 84 and the seniors still played games at Hallam that year. Back when my legs worked, I umpired an EDFL U/18 game between Glenroy and Taylors Lakes and a certain Robert Stevenson was playing his first game of the year for TL as I think it was Teal Cup time and he didn't make the VM squad and the Jets weren't playing.. Anyway, it was probably the best... -
