    Same person also suggested that Khamis is a top 20 quality pick didn't they? Can't say I quite agree with that. Definitely is a high risk, high reward pick. Has clear upside in the Wood role, but he has clear spots to improve.

    If we somehow get Smith, someone before West (Butters?) and West, then that is an absolutely roaring success. Will be hard to pull off, but it would be a masterstroke.

    Risky move from them as well. Clubs would be reticent to bid on a player at 14, if they don't see their value as 14ish, which West probably isn't. In that case, what's to stop us not matching? Reckon this draft is where Ameet Bains will be shown to be a shrewd pickup.

    2 years for the Bont

    I'd say it's still Wood's team. He is a premiership captain after all. Bont is only 22 and can serve a worthwhile apprenticeship from Wood for a couple of more years I think. He has already captained the team at times, which is invaluable leadership experience.
