Wonder if they are saying this today so they can sign someone using the new rules with long term injury’s to cover themselves (deadline for this is today)

Nah sad news is him being called brave and not discouraged to play, and seeing him collapse and die while his young blokes and partner watch. That's sad.

A bloke who has played 100 games for your club. Is in your top 5 players. Has 3 years remaning on his contract.
Will probably never play again.

I find it weird in general how little traction this is getting. Or McCartin.

Lots of ex players are suffering seizures, panic attacks, and can't even take a shit in peace due to brain trauma. They're relatively young men at 40-55 and fit as you could get middle aged blokes to be.

We're really yet to see the full damage it does.

If the AFL gave two ****s about anyone, they'd stop pontificating about ethnic groups or colouring the 50 arc in rainbows. They'd tell these guys they're not playing but pay out their contract to placate them. These two blokes are borderline idiots: Roberton has collapsed and can't run without feeling weird and has young kids – and is still a young man – and McCartin is even younger and has had way too many concussions even for a 35 year old journeyman.

Saints arent all bad if they can survive the next 2 seasons and if they get a new coach (and a new CEO and Footy Manager).

Steele, Gresham, Clark, Coffield, Battle and King all seem promising.

Let's face it, empires have been built on the back of Kings, Battles and Steele.
