That's some quality long range thinking! I like it!Could always marry her, have 3 kids, convert them, gradually ween your way into partneship in the company, paper bag some incriminating paperwork to get rid of FIL, then cozy on up with the mother in law since the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and provide options within the wealth as she retains other rights during divorce proceedings.
MIL divorces the father in law for controlling stake, you have the company, kids back you then wife converts or STFU's since she's out numbered and either way you get bottles of grange and a ranch for retirement as well as several small islands as you trade up to the Caymans and eventually ditch both for a Hollywood starlet 20 years your juniour and retain 80-20 because of your stirling record in dealing with it all and coming out the end as the benefactor to the family.
No one then talks about the 4th kid who chose the filth and was never heard from again.

Good chance to alsi be elected President with that resume...Could always marry her, have 3 kids, convert them, gradually ween your way into partneship in the company, paper bag some incriminating paperwork to get rid of FIL, then cozy on up with the mother in law since the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and provide options within the wealth as she retains other rights during divorce proceedings.

You know you're struggling when even the trees don't turn up for round one...
His improvement still floors me. The free kick element on Sunday wasn’t great but still understandable
With respect he's played 2 games in total and despite having a good game he isn't our best full back yet.Yeah, from hearing Richo after match, I reckon Joyce might be dropped this week which I think is a mistake. His improvement has been massive - who knows where it could end up. Also, I see his combo of size, speed and agility as making him one of our only options to play on those dangerous powerful mid-forwards that do all the damage these days. Think: De Goey, Bont, Dusty, Ziebell, Cripps, Fyfe, etc. When these blokes push forward, they are much too quick and agile for Brown / Carlisle and too big for Geary / Webster, etc. Joyce could be the man. Let him get AFL experience now

my hypothetical hypothesis may have gone in directions I had not anticipated ...
Do you really think they would put him in the leadership yesterday and then not play him Saturday. I wouldn’t but he obviously will sadly. Don’t see the point against Essendon. Need runLargely this is my thought as well, we're obviously deficient in the KPD and Brown can take the monsters of which Essendon don't really have one so we can petty much go "you can have 3-5 games to have a taste early, then back to VFL" and its much more beneficial whilst guys like Wilkie, and DMac are in and with Geary and Webster who are established in a gameday scenario.
Then you can rotate Brown in, Carlisle in Robbo in and etc as they come back for extended periods and you have cover that has experience against varied opposition types instead of just the one.

Geary looked lost. The backline did well considering.Brown's real benefit will be as a general keeping the zone together. Geary was constantly having to come back to set everyone in place and the structure kept breaking down when players didn't hold together. Individually they all did well but we left huge holes.

Are we playing 23. That forces battle forward. Not sure they will want to do thatI would definitely play Brown, but would keep Joyce too. With Paddy (seemingly) cooked, i would also keep Battle as a swingman. Defence when needed and forward if we want to stretch an oppo or to cover forward if Bruce goes in the ruck. Marshall in for Pierce. Job done.
Correct 66 , Brown comes in , leadership and a solid defender - Joyce has shown heaps of improvement , but he can't keep out Brown. With respect he's played 2 games in total and despite having a good game he isn't our best full back yet.
Let him develop at Sandy and pick your best 22 to win games IMO.

Thought that Wilkie was the best performed against GC out of him, Joyce and Battle, took a couple of nice grabs and very composed and clean with ball in hand. Joyce has improved out of sight but is still new to the game, let him continue to hone his craft in the VFL he'll get more chances this year no doubt. Battle is very talented but he's learning to be a defender on the job, there was one stage where he went for a ball in the air and got no where near it and it went over the back for an easy GC goal. Brown in for Joyce for mine.
Marshall in for Pierce and Acres in for Dunstan/Kent just have to happen IMO, Clark should be in the side as well but we won't make 4 changes. Would love to see GOAT get a run of games in the guts, especially if Steven is going to spend a little more time forward.
As George said just getting the win first up would've been a monkey off the back for the boys and Richo, a loss at home against the worst team first up would've been a disaster after last year. Take a deep breath now and get settled into the season. Reckon their confidence levels took a fair whack last year, that horrible game on the big stage against North in Round 2 seemed to knock us for 6 and with the experienced heads like Riewoldt and Montagna not there to steady the ship anymore it just snowballed from there. Now Essendon are in the same position we were with pressure to make finals, bad JLT form, and a terrible early season performance, they could be there for the taking on Saturday.
Yes and despite the overwhelming negativity, you'd be silly to think we aren't a chance against the Bombers who look terribly out of form and without Joe Daniher. If we can bring in Brown for Joyce, Clark for Dunstan and perhaps Marshall for Pierce we will be much more of a threat in the air, quicker through the middle, and more stout in defense. I have a good feeling about Saturday. I think we will give it a big shake.
