Just like Paddy was 4-5 years ago when they played him, or Longer who couldnt run out of sight in the dark. I just dont think he is doing himself or the club any favours carrying the extra pounds, when all other players are getting leaner to cover the extra distances required.

That’s the thing though. It’s his build. He would be obviously fit and they would have data on that

Yes that TOG was a bit odd for him. Maybe we just had too many small forwards?

If I were to drop a small forward, I'd be bringing in Clark or Acres, not Young.

I think because Steven played forward a lot then that’s what happens. Same thing happens with dunstan in the middle. Once jack is fitter then Kent probably plays more time

Twas harmless fun completely! Barrells is spot on, very soft indeed!
Just because these are the times of ridiculous overreactions to anything so called non PC, doesn't mean we have to pander to such nonsense!

Not aimed at you Scrappy but some people need to get a life ffs!
+1 from me mm, and were this a locked forum I'd have thought nothing of it. Any young "lady" wouldn't accept it as lighthearted banter though, she'd be put off BF for life. We want to appear to be above that since we're "representing" stkfc on BF with a women's team on the horizon. I know we're not actualy above it. I know that we're a bunch of aimless dicks who need to get a life. We've just got to be aware that other people will look at this stuff, and some of them don't want to stumble into the locker room and see a bunch of dicks!

Who’s it aimed at then mate ? I just thought the last couple of comments were border line and found it funny a couple commenting on it were the ones that always complain about threads getting taken off topic

Just want to say that for weeks where there is a Thursday night game, all team announcements should be on Wednesday night with extended benches for all but the Thursday-Friday games. It's been a tough couple of days at work and I need something to melt about.

Hes not fit when you look at his side profile he has gut. He may be game fit but he can improve as I bet his skin folds are some the worst in the club. I am certain regardless of his build that he should be playing at 3-5 kgs lighter.

He has come to a new club looking for more opportunity and in my opinion is not giving himself the best start.

Well I haven’t seen him with his kit off. Only seen him live when playing or tv. Looks like a Steven baker build to me.

3 plays? What 5 disposals? Parker and Lonie both set up gaols too but did more than Kent. Kent was looking to give off that kick on goal and Parker off no games came in and told him to have a shot. If he'd not scored that he would have been just about the worst player for either side. Clutch goal means what?.... a tight angle at an opportune time?
So a forward setting up two goals and scoring the clutch goal from the boundary is bad.

And why make things up, he didn't miss, and he was doing the team thing to look for a player in a better position.

What a hide.

It wasn't aimed at anyone. mm doesn't mince words, though he might mince a walk now and then :moustache:

Kent is a welcome addition to the forward line , he can kick goals which he has proved with Melbourne and he will not let the opposition run riot.
The only problem is he is not a great overhead mark.
I actually rate him higher than Lonie , however on Sunday Lonie had more impact.
Parker and Long give our team a potent forward line , attack the ball and has what everyone says that x-factor so they should be in our 22.
But someone has to move for the Goat , It could be Dunstan , Sinclair , Lonie , Kent , Savage but someone has to go.
You can't let one of our most talented player's run a round in the 2s when you know he is better than a lot of the guys that are in the 22.
Any guy who you know if he has a good day he will pick up 30 touches.

I’m a man of tradition.

Like my footy on Saturday afternoon and my melts on a Thursday.

Wednesday melts are for the very special occasion of a Friday night game.

I’m not very keen on “extended bench” melts for Sunday games. They just don’t have the same level of vitriol as the real thing.

Thought Kent played well, just a bit unlucky re a few early fumbles, which I thought maybe he was trying a bit to hard to impress. IMO will improve with the run.

Easily SINCLAIR and DUNSTAN out of that lot. They aren't as good as clark, acres
