Don't love Long out and Clark should be playing but happy with those ins.

Main man is back

Happy withbthe changes but was hoping Clark would play.
Side looks more balanced for it.

Hunter , Coffield , Long , Joyce , Austin , Marsh , Pierce , White , Hind , Young , Pierce , Langlands , Armitage , Rice , Paton , Phillips , Rowe
we now have depth and we should be getting Longer , Clavarino , Hannerbery , King back with in a month.

We gained more flexibility and experience with our ins. A bit disappointing with Long dropped, but I can see why though, He needs to be aggressive but It should be controlled to the point where it doesn't cost goals and loses momentums.

Brown is in career best shape, He brings much needed experience and leadership considering how inexperienced we're down back. Marshall, It's going to be pleasing to a Saints ruck marking, being that extra mid whilst winning hitouts. Acres...THE GOAT.

Yes it seems we have turned the corner with depth at least. Players will have to remain hungry and work hard to retain spots or break into the team.

Is King ready within a month? :openmouth:

Can’t complain too much about the changes. I would’ve kept Long in and got rid of one of the half backs instead. Acres forward does nothing for me.

Long undisciplined...please. That umpire should be having a week off. Disgusting reversal.

Decent looking team. Please keep it close.

Yep played forward in match simulation today ..
I don't mind it. Gives us some more height but keeps our forward line mobile.
He would also still be regaining some match fitness so playing forward will help ease him back in rather than chucking him straight in the middle.

Happy with the changes, The PROSPECT is here. I like the goat returning too, feel like he adds a bit of variety to the midfield/forward line. Liked what saw re Joyce, think he will have a career with us, can develop further in the VFL. Long unlucky but appeared a bit under done, Parker's in better form and plays a similar role. Happy for Long to find some more form/fitness/discipline in the VFL and come back firing soon.

Pretty happy with the side. Can't imagine there'd be a lot of melting tonight.

We win, make 3 changes Bombers get their pants pulled down and make one. Really thought they send a message with selection.

Thats funny.....So did a lot of us......

Essington

Long does need to work on his conditioning, shame our coaching staff didn't think he could do it in the ones. I felt he played a better game than kent for example, he was leading our super coach or whatever rating system they use at marvel stadium at one point in the second quarter (i think it was), he just faded hard.

anyway pumped for marshal, brown a good in too, and of course, the goat

Why the actual **** is Geary listed as starting on the wing? In what universe is 20 turnovers any more useful on a wing than 15 is in defence?
Hmm...Geary on a wing or Hunter Clark on a wing? I know which one I'd pick! Given Stringer likes to tear us apart for fun though, he'll no doubt spend some time back there on rotation.
Anyway, maybe the strategy is lots of chaos balls into the forward 50 for Gresh, Kent and Lonie to run onto.

Maybe Richo wants fwd entries to be more unpredictable. Probs targeted at Stringer.

Actually when in space, his 25m dinky pass is his best kick.
