As much as I’m enjoying the Essenmelts of their supporters I don’t trust them to be shit for long.

They were patchy and pathetic early- mid last year and played extremely well in the back half of the season. They could still recover their season.

Just keep losing .

Worsfold won't finish the season and with Hirdy doing a little bit of a Malthouse in the media (never say never vs, it's now or never) it would be absolutely ****ing hilarious if the bombers went back in that direction.

They remind me of Carlton pre-Bolton. The last of the big 4 who haven't adapted to the modern era. Still difficult to do business with in the off-season, have a coach from the early 2000's, think they are 'not far off it' and would rather target free agents than utilise the draft.

Would we be surprised if they sacked Woosha and went for an old timer messiah?
