Rather us lose to em now instead of in the finals, next time we play em they’ll be the heavy favourite, just think the players dont have their heads in the game atm

Mate unless we do a shake up of personnel and tactics we will lose to them in all games this year much like last year.

The umpiring again was poo but even given that they had our measure.

Unfortunately they have it over us, just like Geelong in 2011.

We will need to play out of our skins to upset them.

I just think we need to change our stoppage set up (personnel and method) and stop overcommitting players numbers to aerial and ground contests.

we didn't take advantage of momentum when we had it. and look at the first half alone and Stephenson actually cost us literally 4 goals. 2 easy Joe the gooses of the top which he stuffed up. then 2 coming out of defence he kicked on the full which resulted in WC goals. so there is 24 points. in a game that we lose by 22.

Aish was not fine. **** me.
I won’t be rushing to rewatch the game, but unless I have my matchups mistaken and he was manning Cripps I thought he was solid enough.

I’m usually a big critic but aside from that smothered kick through the midfield didn’t think he made too many errors.

Can’t say the same for Maynard and Howe.

Backline - Will always struggle at an elite level if midfield struggles. I thought Roughead, Aish, Langdon, Moore, Crisp where our best defenders.

Midfield - Hard to pick a winner. Mayne went missing in the 2nd and 3rd when it counted. Phillips none ability to take a clean possession hurt. Pendles struggled, Grundy no presence. What was Greenwood's purpose in the team tonight, did he play?

Forward - Cox is struggling, contested forward marks are invaluable. Might not make the team next week. No forward pressure (Varcoe)! Elliot well covered and Stephenson bellow par. Missing Wilbur, I liked Mihocheks` game tonight!

Yep add to that:

WC are very good at zoning and strangling our ball movement from HB slowing us to a crawl and setting up their defence.

We can't play the hold and chip game like we do vs Tigers it plays into WC hands.
